Hidden Gems: Meet Pat Nixon of Pat T. Nixon Enterprise

Today we’d like to introduce you to Pat Nixon.

Hi Pat, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
Visionary leader, public speaker, mentor, and coach who leads with love while building systems that protect people and elevate purpose. She brings over two decades of experience guiding corporations, healthcare organizations, and entrepreneurs in areas ranging from elder care and dementia support to safe, compliant long-term care practices and abundance-based leadership.

She is the owner of iNurse Delegate, President of We Are One Heart Foundation, and creator of the R3 Women’s Retreats—spaces where women Rest, Restore, and Reignite. And the woman behind the Growth Garden.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road—and honestly, I don’t think meaningful impact ever comes without challenge.

My journey has been filled with pivots, sacrifices, and seasons of deep uncertainty. I’ve navigated single motherhood, financial pressure, burnout, and the emotional weight of being the visionary while still doing the day-to-day work. Building businesses in senior care and healthcare compliance meant learning regulations, systems, and leadership on the fly—often while still working bedside as a nurse to fund the dream.

One of the biggest struggles has been learning how to carry big vision with limited resources. There were moments when I had the passion and the plan, but not the capital, the team, or the roadmap. I’ve had to bootstrap, self-fund, rebuild after setbacks, and keep moving forward even when progress felt painfully slow.

Another challenge has been emotional—learning to trust myself, set boundaries, and release relationships or opportunities that no longer aligned with my purpose. As a woman building in spaces that are still very male-dominated, I’ve also had to learn how to speak with authority while leading with compassion.

But every struggle taught me something essential: resilience, clarity, faith, and the power of consistency. Those experiences shaped how I lead today—with empathy, structure, and intention.

I’ve learned that the road doesn’t have to be smooth to be meaningful. Every obstacle refined me, strengthened my resolve, and reinforced my commitment to building legacy-centered businesses that serve people with dignity, love, and purpose.

Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I am a nurse entrepreneur and senior-care visionary focused on creating spaces where people can age with dignity, safety, and love.

I operate Windsor House Senior Care Homes and lead We Are One Heart Foundation, which supports seniors with limited financial resources. Through iNurse Delegate, I provide RN delegation, compliance consulting, and professional training for assisted living facilities and personal care agencies across Texas. I’m also developing Loveland Assisted Living Campus, a life-plan community integrating assisted living, memory care, independent living, and wellness-centered programming into one connected ecosystem.

What sets me apart is that I build from lived experience. I don’t just advise facilities—I operate them. I understand caregiving, compliance, leadership, and entrepreneurship because I actively work in every layer of it. My approach blends clinical excellence with emotional intelligence, structure with compassion, and strategy with soul.

I specialize in creating systems that support both people and process—helping providers stay compliant while ensuring residents feel seen, valued, and cared for. Everything I do is rooted in servant leadership and the belief that healthcare should feel human.

Brand-wise, I’m most proud of building community-centered models of care. Whether it’s empowering nurses, supporting families, or creating safe homes for seniors, my work centers on restoration, connection, and legacy.
I want readers to know that my brands aren’t just businesses—they are purpose-driven ecosystems designed to uplift individuals and communities. Every offering is created with intention, integrity, and a commitment to leading with love.

Do you have any advice for those looking to network or find a mentor?
Finding a mentor starts with clarity—knowing what you actually need guidance in. Early on, I stopped looking for one “perfect” mentor and instead built a circle of mentors: some for business, some for finance, some for leadership, and others for personal growth.

What’s worked best for me is showing up in rooms where growth is happening—masterminds, conferences, workshops, and community spaces—and leading with genuine connection rather than transaction. I ask thoughtful questions, stay curious, and follow up. Mentorship often grows organically when people see your consistency and your commitment to action.

I’ve also learned not to be afraid to invest in proximity. Sometimes mentorship comes through paid programs, coaching, or masterminds, and those investments have accelerated my learning curve tremendously. You don’t always need access—you need alignment.

In networking, my advice is simple: be authentic, be prepared, and be generous. Focus on building real relationships, not collecting contacts. Share your vision, listen deeply, and look for ways to add value before asking for anything in return.

Most importantly, do the work. Mentors are drawn to people who execute, not just dream. When someone sees you moving with purpose, doors naturally begin to open.
