Today we’d like to introduce you to Pranati Chandra.
Hi Pranati, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I grew up in a small town in the eastern part of India called Patna. After high school, I went to Bangalore (Silicon Valley of India) to pursue my undergraduate program in the computer. After completing college, I decided to pursue my master’s in computer application to enhance my knowledge and skill set. So, 6+ years of education in computer science landed me multiple corporate jobs at companies like Accenture, CVS, and Cognizant in India and the USA. But I was always interested in doing something more, which is creative, and women’s empowerment. I started my own initiative to enhance my career and put my heart and soul into that.
In 2015, I started an IT consulting company that evolved into a Digital Marketing company called Neologic Marketing. Back in my corporate days, I was very passionate about enabling small businesses and I wanted to think more outside my usual 9-5 job. I always wanted to collaborate more with other entrepreneurs and build a community of small businesses where they can afford the same technology to grow their businesses as big giant corporations do. So, I left cubicle life and started my journey to build the Digital Marketing Company.
In 2017, I started another venture focused on Event Management called ‘Chandra Party’. This was an initiative to make the event planning experience less painful for the hosts. We do small events such as Birthdays, Baby showers, Corporate events, and small family events. COVID-19 had a huge impact on this business because in the pandemic, there were no events, so definitely no event management services were needed!! Above all of this, I am a mom of a 5-year-old boy, a wife, a daughter, and a self-trained, very passionate baker. In addition, I am an artist by heart and soul and love to paint in different art forms. I am attaching some of my amateur work in Madhubani paintings which is a form of art from the eastern state of India, Bihar. I am a huge supporter and believer in women’s empowerment, especially small business owners. My vision is to enable Mompreneur and Solopreneurs to transform their business into Digital space!!
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
A journey is never complete unless you do not find roadblocks on it. A lot of time, people say, “I HOPE IT WORKS,” but I believe in saying, “HOPE IS NOT A GOOD STRATEGY.” The same goes with my Story; when I started with Neologic Marketing, it was challenging both financially and the time investment is always a huge balancing act for all of us as new entrepreneurs. Other challenges we all also have are scalability and growth. As a CEO and owner of this company, I have been very tactful about our own growth strategy and building a team of people who are equally passionate about this journey. I am blessed to be working with very energetic and like-minded people in our team at Neologic.

What would you say have been one of the most important lessons you’ve learned?
I believe in making new mistakes, as those are the stepping-stones of success!! That’s my mantra!!! Have patience and it will pay you in a long run.
