Hidden Gems: Meet Rebbecca Harris of Western Wellness & Aesthetics LLC

Today we’d like to introduce you to Rebbecca Harris.

Hi Rebbecca, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I am one of seven children, and the only college graduate. I received my ADN from New Mexico State University in 1998, my BSN from Lubbock Christian University in 2001. In 2008, I received my Master’s of Nursing and Master’s in Healthcare Administration from the University of Phoenix, and I completed my PhD in Nursing from Nova Southeastern University in 2024. I have been a practicing nurse since 1999, and for 18 of those years, I spent at the bedside in the emergency room. I additionally provided care in the ICU, pedi-ER, pedi-ICU, pre-op, and PACU. I taught at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center School of Nursing from 2011-2020. I was the Director of Nursing at Paris Junior College for a year, and then spent two years at Texas A&M University – Commerce (currently East Texas A&M) as their Director of Simulation, BSN Coordinator and a teaching faculty member. I have taught at LeTourneau University, and I am currently an NCLEX specialist for Assessment Technologies Institute. The face of nursing education is drastically changing, and in the last year, my husband and I decided I would return to school and obtain my post-master’s Family Nurse Practitioner certification. My husband and I opened our clinic, Western Wellness & Aesthetics LLC, in Greenville, TX, in March of 2025. We currently offer a full line of aesthetic treatments including neuromodulators, dermal fillers, biostimulators, skin rejuvenation, weight loss, IV hydration, and vitamin infusion, and much more. Upon completion of my FNP, I will add male and female hormone replacement therapy and concierge care to the clinic. We currently provide quality care for those who seek to improve their overall health and wellness, and will begin providing concierge care to those who seek a higher quality of provider care for their everyday health and wellness issues in 2026.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
I completed my first and second degrees in nursing as a single mom of two. During my first degree, I worked full-time in the emergency department as an ER technician and phlebotomist, and attended school at New Mexico State University – Alamogordo campus, Monday – Friday. While attending Lubbock Christian University for my BSN (second nursing degree), I worked full-time at night as an ER nurse and attended school throughout the week. Nursing school alone is very challenging when not coupled with a full-time job and parenting. My ADN and BSN were face-to-face programs, as opposed to the current online formats that are offered. I worked full-time 12-hour night shifts, attended school M-F morning and afternoon, and was a full-time mom. There were several days every week where staying awake for 48-72 hours was routine in order to complete school and pay bills. I have never received funds from family to attend school, and currently have upwards of 500k in student loan debts, all for the betterment of my household. I was raised in poverty and refused to do the same to my children. Thankfully, I had wonderful sitters who worked around my schedule and assisted with getting my children to and from school. One semester, my children had to live with my mom and stepdad.

We’ve been impressed with Western Wellness & Aesthetics LLC, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I pride myself on offering quality care to those who are seeking aesthetics and overall wellness. At Western Wellness & Aesthetics (WW&A), you will find an inviting Western atmosphere where you can relax and feel confident that you’re being taken care of by a trained professional who has spent hours learning musculature and vasculature to provide the highest level of aesthetics possible. Western Wellness & Aesthetics is focused on quality, care, comfort, and confidentiality.

What do you like best about our city? What do you like least?
What I like best is that we are able to find great food, great shopping, and great culture all within a reasonable driving distance. What I like least is that the traffic outgrew the highways before they were ever opened, and it is only getting worse.
