Hi Ronald, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
Born and raised in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, Ronnie showed a natural talent for soccer from an early age, along with a deep passion for the game. His parents, both highly educated, emphasized the importance of an English-language education, a decision that would later prove invaluable. During Ronnie’s childhood, his mother worked as a flight attendant and frequently took him to Europe, exposing him to new cultures and broadening his worldview.
At 17, Ronnie seized the opportunity to move to Manchester to attend Manchester International College, confident and prepared due to his extensive travel experience. As an international student, his employment options were limited. He worked physically demanding jobs alongside fellow immigrants—many from Mexico—pouring concrete for a construction company and later joining a landscaping crew, all while continuing to pursue his education and soccer.
During his junior year of college, Ronnie secured an internship with a local sports media company, TXK Gameday. It was there that he discovered his passion for media production, which ultimately inspired him to launch his own company, Clean Visuals LLC. Founded in 2021, Clean Visuals has built a strong reputation for wedding films and promotional content for businesses and continues to grow with momentum and dedication.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Definetely no such thing as a smooth road. As a foreigner I have learned to adapt and overcome. I try to see the positive in every negative situation. I am a firm believer and a family man. That keeps me grounded.
