Today we’d like to introduce you to Shay Trendy.
Hi Shay, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
CTD—Connecting The Dots—started as more than an idea. It started as a mindset.
I realized early on that everything in life is connected: the struggles, the wins, the setbacks, the lessons, the people I met along the way. Nothing I went through was wasted—it was all preparing me for what I’m doing now.
At first, CTD was just me sharing real moments. Real conversations. Real experiences. Food spots, family time, comedy, culture, faith, healing, growth—pieces of everyday life that don’t always seem important in the moment, but later you see how they shaped you.
I didn’t wake up “here” overnight.
I stayed consistent when it didn’t look like anything was happening.
I showed up when motivation was low.
I used what I had, where I was, with who was around me.
Each post, each caption, each conversation, each opportunity was another dot being placed.
Today, CTD represents growth, authenticity, and purpose. It’s about showing people that your journey makes sense—even when it feels messy. You don’t have to have it all figured out. You just have to keep moving and trust that eventually the dots will connect.
I’m still evolving. Still learning. Still building.
And that’s the beauty of CTD—
the story isn’t finished yet.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
No, it hasn’t been smooth—but that’s actually what shaped me.
There were seasons of self-doubt, moments where progress felt invisible, and times when I had to keep going without applause. I faced limited resources, misunderstandings, and the challenge of balancing real life while still protecting the vision.
But every struggle taught me something. It taught me discipline when motivation ran out. It taught me patience when results were delayed. And it taught me confidence—because I learned how to bet on myself even when nobody else did.
Those hard moments weren’t roadblocks—they were building blocks. Looking back, I can see how every setback was really preparing me for the next level.
So no, it wasn’t smooth—but it was purposeful. And if you’re listening and feeling stuck right now, just know: the struggle isn’t stopping you… it’s shaping you.
I’m still evolving, still learning, still connecting the dots.
We’ve been impressed with Connecting The Dots SNG, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
CTD stands for Connecting The Dots, and at its core, it’s about storytelling with purpose. CTD is a platform and a mindset that highlights how real-life experiences—both the wins and the struggles—connect to personal growth, creativity, and impact.
What people should know is that CTD is rooted in authenticity. Nothing is forced. Everything shared is real, relatable, and intentional. Whether it’s culture, comedy, conversation, food, family, or faith, CTD shows how everyday moments are part of a bigger picture. CTD specializes in content creation, storytelling, and community engagement. I’m known for turning ordinary experiences into meaningful conversations—whether through podcast segments, interviews, live discussions, comedy panels, event coverage, or branded social content.
I’m especially known for my CTD-style captions and commentary, where I connect moments to lessons, humor, and motivation in a way that feels natural and not preachy. People resonate because they see themselves in the story. What sets CTD apart is perspective.
I don’t chase trends—I connect moments. I focus on substance over virality and consistency over clout. CTD isn’t about being perfect; it’s about being present and purposeful.
Another key difference is community. CTD creates space for dialogue, not just views. It’s inclusive, relatable, and grounded in real life—not highlight reels.
Alright, so to wrap up, is there anything else you’d like to share with us?

I’m proud that CTD is recognized as a brand that’s positive, motivating, and culture-driven—while still being honest. People know when they see CTD, they’re going to get something real.
