Holy-Snaaps Images shared their story and experiences with us recently and you can find our conversation below.
Holy-Snaaps Images, a huge thanks to you for investing the time to share your wisdom with those who are seeking it. We think it’s so important for us to share stories with our neighbors, friends and community because knowledge multiples when we share with each other. Let’s jump in: What is something outside of work that is bringing you joy lately?
Outside of work, I enjoy taking photo of nature and with the temps cooling down here in Texas, it is bringing added joy to enjoy the outdoors more.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
I am the owner and founder of Holy-Snaaps Images. I capture all things nature from landscapes to flowers laying on the ground as i walk by.
My photography journey began during Covid-19 which started out as a fun hobby to now I am taking photo’s for others and truly enjoy it.
Appreciate your sharing that. Let’s talk about your life, growing up and some of topics and learnings around that. Who were you before the world told you who you had to be?
I have always been ambitious, but at some point the world will show you that not all dreams do come true. However, at some point in life, you will look back and want to chase those old dreams and realize anything is possible with God.
My advice to those that get wrapped into what the world says about you or what we should do. Go after that dream or that goal. Anything is possible with God and effort.
What did suffering teach you that success never could?
Life has it’s ups and downs. What suffering has taught me is how strong i actually am and that God is always with me. It builds strength, character and faith. You learn so much more about yourself during hard times than you do in success.
Alright, so if you are open to it, let’s explore some philosophical questions that touch on your values and worldview. Is the public version of you the real you?
Yes, the public version of me is the real me.
Thank you so much for all of your openness so far. Maybe we can close with a future oriented question. If you laid down your name, role, and possessions—what would remain?
If i laid down my name, role and possessions. What would remain is my family and God. Nothing else matters without those two things.
