Inspiring Conversations with Adriana Jackson of ImprintsxJackson

Today we’d like to introduce you to Adriana Jackson

Hi Adriana , so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I was born in León Gto Mexico. Came to Dallas Texas at the age of 7 years with my mom and siblings. I am a DACA DREAMER. I was raised in a single parent household. Where like many hispanic children, I had to step up and help my mom run a household from a very young age. That’s where I feel my work ethic and hustle comes from. Seeing my mamí, an immigrant who didn’t speak the language do everything and anything for her children to be successful in a foreign country inspired the woman I am today and for that I thank her and God, anything is possible with God’s grace. My dreams were to go to college and have a career however being an immigrant came with it’s limitations. I had to think outside the box and venture to new dreams and goals. Then DACA happen and that open new doors for those goals of mine. However life got in the way and those dreams where put on pause until my children were born. They are my daily motivation. Wanting to create generational wealth for them, so they wouldn’t experience the struggles I faced inspired ImprintsxJackson. I thank God for allowing this. My family and everyone in my life for always supporting me.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
I wish I could say the road has been smooth and easy, but starting a business or anything in life for that matter never is or will be. Obstacles and hurdles are always there but I am a firm believer that everything happens for a reason. So we just have to stay motivated and focus on the bigger picture.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about ImprintsxJackson ?
ImprintsxJackson started as a goal to teach and bring generational wealth for my children. It’s really become the business I envision. I create paper and vinyl crafts. From stickers, cake toppers, to business cards. You have a paper or vinyl idea, I can execute it! I also offer customized prints and printing services. I want to incorporate other services and items in the future. I hope ImprintsxJackson grows and gives me the opportunity to contribute to my community.

Do you any memories from childhood that you can share with us?
Summers. Being able to relax and just be kid with no tasks nor worries. We as kids are often in such a hurry to grow up that we forget to live in the moment and slow down. Time is truly a thieve. Slow down and enjoy the moment.
