Inspiring Conversations with Alfonso Bachiller of AB Dreams Events

Today we’d like to introduce you to Alfonso Bachiller.

Hi Alfonso, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?

My journey in the entertainment and live events industry began with a deep passion for music and a strong sense of purpose. I started out working behind the scenes in Puerto Rico, where I was involved in the production of some of the island’s largest cultural events, from Calle San Sebastián to the Día Nacional de la Salsa and university festivals like Justas LAI. These experiences gave me a strong foundation in audio engineering, stage management, and large-scale event coordination.

Over time, I realized that my calling was not only to deliver technical excellence but also to create events with impact – experiences that could inspire and bring people together. That vision led me to establish AB Dreams Events, a company built on the pillars of creativity, structure, and purpose.

What started as a small production company quickly grew into a multifaceted organization. Today, AB Dreams is not only dedicated to live event production but also operates as a label and booking agency, supporting artists in their careers, distribution, and international growth. We’ve had the privilege to work with renowned names like Christine D’Clario, Redimi2, Barak, Alex Zurdo, Lilly Goodman, Tercer Cielo, and many others, producing concerts and tours across Puerto Rico, the United States, and Latin America.

Recently, we’ve entered a new stage of expansion through strategic partnerships – most notably with OneRPM Gospel – which allows us to amplify our impact in the digital distribution and artist development space.

Looking back, the journey has been about much more than events. It has been about answering a calling: to build platforms that amplify what has been entrusted to us, connecting artists with audiences and creating experiences that go beyond music to touch lives.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
The road has definitely not been smooth. Like many entrepreneurs, I’ve faced moments of uncertainty, financial limitations, and the challenge of building credibility in an industry that is both competitive and constantly evolving.

One of the biggest struggles has been navigating the balance between artistic vision and financial sustainability. Large-scale productions demand significant investment, and convincing municipalities, sponsors, and venues to believe in a concept is not always easy – especially when you’re bringing a faith-based message into mainstream spaces.

Another challenge has been the transition from local to international markets. Expanding from Puerto Rico into the U.S. and Latin America required not only logistics and resources but also the ability to adapt to different cultures, regulations, and expectations while maintaining the same standard of excellence.

And, like everyone in the live events industry, the pandemic brought an unexpected pause. Tours were canceled, venues closed, and it felt like everything we had built was on hold. But in that season, we learned to innovate, to focus on digital strategies, and to prepare for the moment when doors would open again.

What has carried me through these challenges is the conviction that purpose goes beyond obstacles. Each struggle became an opportunity to refine our structure, strengthen our faith, and grow into a company that doesn’t just produce events but creates platforms with lasting impact.

As you know, we’re big fans of AB Dreams Events . For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
AB Dreams Events is a multifaceted company that specializes in live event production, artist management, booking, and label services. We operate at the intersection of creativity, structure, and purpose, which means we don’t just produce concerts—we create experiences that leave a lasting impact.

We are known for producing high-quality concerts and tours across Puerto Rico, the United States, and Latin America, working with leading artists such as Christine D’Clario, Redimi2, Barak, Alex Zurdo, Lilly Goodman, and Tercer Cielo. Our expertise goes beyond the stage—we provide full technical coordination, including audio, lighting, staging, LED walls, and backline, ensuring that every detail reflects excellence.

What sets us apart is our holistic approach. In addition to event production, we operate as an independent label and booking agency. Through our label division, we support artists with digital distribution, branding, and international positioning. Through booking, we connect artists with audiences worldwide, ensuring that their message reaches new markets and communities.

One of the things we are most proud of is our ability to merge professionalism with purpose. We don’t just see ourselves as an events company; we see ourselves as builders of platforms where music becomes a tool to inspire, to unite, and to bring hope. That’s why our recent partnership with OneRPM Gospel is so meaningful—it allows us to expand our reach, support more artists, and create a greater impact across cultures and generations.

At the heart of AB Dreams is a commitment to excellence and integrity. We want readers to know that every project we take on is crafted with intentionality—from the production design of a large arena concert to the career strategy of an emerging artist. Our mission is simple: to amplify what has been entrusted to us and to create experiences that transform lives.

Alright, so to wrap up, is there anything else you’d like to share with us?
What I’d like readers to know is that AB Dreams is more than just a company—it’s a vision. Our work is not only about concerts, labels, or bookings; it’s about building bridges between artists and audiences, and creating experiences that carry purpose.

We are entering a new season with bold projects on the horizon—from the Coritos Tour with Israel Houghton and Christine D’Clario, to international concerts, strategic partnerships, and the growth of our label division. Each initiative is designed to elevate artists, serve communities, and bring messages of faith and hope to larger platforms.

If there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s that the combination of vision, structure, and faith can open doors that once seemed impossible. My encouragement to anyone reading is this: don’t underestimate the power of what’s in your hands. When you align your talent with purpose, you can impact lives far beyond what you imagined.

At AB Dreams, we’re committed to walking that journey not just for ourselves, but with the artists, partners, and audiences who believe in something greater.
