Today we’d like to introduce you to Ally Grimmett and Bekah Arredondo.
Hi Ally and Bekah, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today.
Bekah and I have best best friends since 2010! We have always enjoyed having fun together and celebrating each other through all special moments in our lives this far. After we got settled in our careers, we decided to get together to create BA Parties together! B is for Bekah, and A is for Ally, but there is also another meaning behind the name. 🙂 We have has the best time over this past year helping others celebrate engagements, weddings, babies, graduations, birthdays, and more! Getting to meet new faces and hear their stories is the cherry on top of why we do what we do! We believe every occasion and everybody deserves to be celebrated, so why not celebrate with balloons?
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back, would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
For the most part, everything has been pretty smooth. We have used our social media platforms like Instagram and Facebook to reach clients, as well as the connections that we have made with our clients so far. Going through the LLC process was time-consuming but worth it in the end. We wanted to become an official through the state, so becoming an LLC was very important to us!

BA Parties consists of two high school best friends who think every life occasion needs to be celebrated! Whether it’s full-service party planning, balloon arch, streamer background, or planning and implementing theme parties, we are your girls! We are most known for our balloons that we set up for any parties! We have set up balloons for school events, birthday parties, bridal showers, baby showers, engagement showers, graduation parties; you name it! When talking to potential clients, we take the time to get to know them and what they want to be done for their party. We ask questions to make sure we are doing everything on our end to ensure you get the best party decorating experience! We create custom quotes based on client needs while keeping their budget in the front of our mind! We are fun, love to laugh, and will probably invite you out for drinks after our setup! We have loved meeting people through BA Parties, and I (Ally) have decided to expand the BA name into the wedding world and start a separate business, BA Weddings, LLC! My hope with BA Weddings is to help couples have their dream day and make the day go smooth for them. Similar to BA Parties, our goal is to make sure their party needs are met while they sit back and let us do all of the hard work!
Is there something surprising that you feel even people who know you might not know about?
Something others may not know about me and Bekah is that while we both set up together, we definitely have separate roles in the business! Bekah is definitely more social media savvy, while I (Ally) will create party plans and quotes to send off to clients! Outside of our business together, Ally is a Kindergarten teacher, and Bekah works for an Accounting Firm! Running BA Parties together gives us a chance to work together, which has always been a dream of ours!
