Today we’d like to introduce you to Angelica Cardoso. 

Hi Angelica, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today.
Twenty-Eight Events started in October 2021, midst of a global pandemic! 

A conversation about having our own business led us to a leap of faith, so we did our research and purchased our supplies. It all started when I set up one of those “modern white bounce houses” for our son’s birthday that year and my husband made all the food and prepared the drinks for the party and the rest is history. Word of mouth is SO powerful, especially in this industry. I started getting calls and text messages from friends and family members to rent out our bounce house and cater at their kids’ birthday parties. We specialize in customizing your event needs. We offer an array of bounce house and soft play installations, catering, mobile bartending and so much more. Rest assure when booking with us you’ll receive a luxury experience from start to finish that provides a safe environment for your little ones and a stress-free time for our adults! 

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
No, it has not been a smooth road at all. Especially in the beginning, with the pandemic, we struggled with getting inventory here on time. We had our very first booking for a little girl’s 3rd birthday party, where her parents had booked our most popular bounce house and taco banquet for 50 people. We ordered our supplies, and it arrived the day before. We opened the box just to find out that the griddle was missing pieces. That was defiantly a very stressful night. The next morning my Husband went out to multiple different restaurant supply stores in hope of finding one, but no luck. He later went to a local taco shop near our home and asked if they were willing to rent out a griddle to him, they agreed, and we were super grateful. That same day after the event we got home to a box waiting for us in the front door, it was the missing pieces. 

This was the biggest and most stressful struggle we had to overcome.

We provide quality service start to finish. Your event day should be stress-free; our services were built with that in mind. Bounce houses, soft play, and ball pits is our specialties for the little ones. Catering and Mobile Bartending is our specialty for our adults. We are a truly a ONE-stop party shop! 

How can people work with you, collaborate with you or support you?
We are always open to collaborating within profit organizations for events when it comes to our Dallas community. For example, our church hosts a festival to raise money for underprivileged families every year, and last year there was no entertainment for the kids. Twenty-Eight Events stepped in & everyone had so much fun! The community of Dallas can help support our small business by giving us a follow or like on our social media pages or remembering us for their next event.
