Today we’d like to introduce you to Antionette Williams
Hi Antionette, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I started my journey as a business owner in Saint Louis, Mo where I operated a home based childcare center! Shortly after being in operation, I open up a neighborhood resource center on the Southside of St. Louis. Here we offered free services to the public for community resources and programs that focused on preparing young adults for post high school life! As much as I loved my business and the purpose we fulfilled, I often felt the need to relocate from my hometown and thats where the decision to come to Dallas, Tx was birthed. In February of 2021 I packed up a uhaul and moved me and my family to Dallas. I had done my research prior to moving and secured an apartment and job as a substitute teacher. Although things were looking up I could not stop there. After getting situated and comfortable I decided it was time to take things up a notch and started my motor carrier company. We had a very successful run for about 6 months but with the obstacles of being a new carrier and other adversities I decided that it was not the right time for that business venture. Throughout the entire journey I have always been accountable for helping other individuals start and scale their own business! I also helped close friends and family members with their taxes for their businesses as well. The conclusion was made to begin providing services that I already was giving and BME Services LLC was created in 2023!
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Some of the obstacles that were faced while being a serial entrepreneur was deciding what industry I wanted to explore and venture off into first! Being a multitalented individual also comes with indecisiveness and the desire to do everything! Also being an entrepreneur with limited resources and knowledge on how to correctly set up my business. There was alot of trial and error that lead me to start researching and looking for the much-needed information that can help me run a successful business.

I feel that my passion is most important to my success! Having passion behind what I do brings a personal connection to why I will never give up!
