Today we’d like to introduce you to Antonio Sanchez Gonzaga.
Hi Antonio, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Hi, my name is Antonio Sanchez Gonzaga. I am originally from Lima, Peru. I immigrated to the United States (Dallas, TX) back in 2010 when I was 18 years old. I graduated from the University of North Texas in December 2013 with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. English is my second language. In 2014, after graduating from UNT, I was able to land a job as a Project Manager in Construction for a Commercial Concrete Contractor (Capform Inc.). In the beginning, it was a challenging job because I did not have any knowledge/experience in Construction (I didn’t even know how to read a Construction Plan/Blueprint). But after hard work and great help from my colleagues, I was able to learn how to read and interpret Construction Plans (Blueprints). I have worked on many projects in downtown Dallas and the metroplex area. In 2017, while working as a Project Manager for Capform Inc. I started my own company on the side. The name of my company is: Ansago LLC. (I came up with this name based on the first 2 letters of my name and last name). This company that I founded started as a Junk Removal business but now, I turned it into a Dumpster Rental business and we have been in operation since then. Now, while I am still the active CEO & Founder of Ansago LLC., I am also a Senior Project Manager in Construction for Capform Inc. currently working in a 30-story building in downtown Houston, TX. My plan looking into the near future is to expand my company (Ansago LLC.) throughout the wonderful state of Texas, and, if possible, throughout the whole country. I am proud of being an immigrant from Peru and I am also proud of being a Texan.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
It was a very challenging road. When I first moved here to Dallas, TX, I had to learn English. After learning the language, I had to go to college and put my whole dedication towards my degree because my dad was the one paying for my tuition and as a foreigner, College here was way more expensive than back in my country. Before founding my company, I had failed multiple times in various business ventures trying to find the right business. While working hard on my own company and my job career as a Project Manager, I went through a divorce. At the beginning phase of my divorce, I felt like my world was coming to an end. However, while I was down, I took a deep breath, took a second look at my son who was 4 years old at the time, and told myself that my son cannot look at me like this (defeated). Therefore, I picked up the broken pieces of my heart and spirit and told myself that it was time to start a new chapter in my life. I started working hard towards my career as a Project Manager and got promoted. Also, I invested the little bit of money that I had back then into my business (Ansago LLC.) and I was able to buy my first Dumpster truck and scale up my business. Now, that I look back, I thank God for every single thing that had to happen in my life to be in the position that I am currently at.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about Ansago LLC.?

I am proud that we have helped many people/companies in Dallas to maintain a clean and safe environment. Also, by doing what we currently do, we are able to maintain multiple places/areas clean for future generations. Have you learned any interesting or important lessons due to the Covid-19 Crisis?
We learned that Waste Management is an important factor that contributes to a clean environment. We also learned that we are considered essential because we contribute to the reduction of contamination and if it wasn’t for all the people that work doing these types of jobs, this pandemic could have been worse or never-ending at all.
