Hi Bailey, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I started my grooming journey in 2019 and quickly fell in love with helping pets look and feel their best. What began as a passion for grooming eventually grew into PicturePawfect Mobile Grooming, a luxury mobile grooming service based in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
Since my last interview, the business has grown beyond what I imagined. I’ve become fully booked with amazing recurring clients, expanded my online platform, and started coaching other groomers who are looking to build successful businesses of their own. I’ve also created digital resources, hosted educational webinars with industry leaders like The Daily Groomer and Wag’n Tails, and participated in career days at local schools to introduce young students to careers working with animals.
One of my favorite parts of this journey has been giving back to the grooming community. I love sharing what I’ve learned, helping others avoid common mistakes, and showing groomers that they can build a career they truly love. I’m incredibly grateful for where this path has taken me, and there are still many exciting projects on the horizon.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Not at all. Like most business owners, I’ve had to learn through trial and error. In the beginning, I struggled with pricing, confidence, setting boundaries, and figuring out how to attract the right clients. Mobile grooming is also physically demanding, so learning how to balance growth without burning out was a huge lesson.
There were definitely moments where I questioned myself, but every challenge taught me something valuable. Looking back, those difficult seasons helped shape the business I have today and gave me the knowledge I now share with other groomers.

PicturePawfect Mobile Grooming is a luxury, one-on-one mobile grooming service serving dogs throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth area. My goal has always been to create a calm, personalized experience where pets receive my full attention from start to finish, all from the convenience of their driveway.
While I’m known for quality grooming and building strong relationships with my clients, what truly sets my business apart is the experience. I focus on consistency, communication, and making sure every pet feels comfortable and cared for. Many of my clients have been with me for years, and their trust means everything to me.
Beyond grooming, I’m passionate about supporting and educating others in the pet industry. Through coaching, digital resources, webinars, and community events, I love helping groomers grow their skills and businesses while also helping pet owners better understand their dogs’ grooming needs.
What I’m most proud of is the community that has formed around my brand. PicturePawfect has grown through relationships, word of mouth referrals, and genuine connections with both pet owners and fellow groomers. I want readers to know that whether they’re booking a grooming appointment, attending an educational event, or following along online, they’re joining a community that truly cares about pets, people, and helping others succeed.
If you had to, what characteristic of yours would you give the most credit to?
Consistency. I’m a big believer that you don’t have to be the most talented person in the room, you just have to keep showing up. Over the years, I’ve stayed committed to learning, improving, and serving both my clients and the grooming community. Small efforts repeated consistently have created opportunities I never could have planned for.
I also genuinely love helping people. Whether it’s a pet owner, a fellow groomer, or a student exploring career options, being able to share knowledge and make a positive impact is what keeps me motivated.
