Inspiring Conversations with Bailey Price of WellMamas, LLC

Today we’d like to introduce you to Bailey Price

Hi Bailey, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
During my first maternity leave, I found myself searching for an app or program that could support my fitness, nutrition, and emotional well-being as a new mom—something that was realistic for my life as a working mom. But I quickly realized there was nothing that truly combined all of those elements in a way that made sense for the chaotic, busy life I was now living.

That gap in the market inspired me to pursue certifications in nutrition, personal training, and pre- and post-natal fitness. I wanted to create a platform that would help moms like me navigate their wellness journeys, addressing everything from exercise to mindset to self-care, all while fitting seamlessly into their busy lives.

That’s how WellMamas was born—a no-nonsense, comprehensive resource for moms who are juggling it all but still want to prioritize their health and well-being. It’s been incredible to see how many women resonate with that mission, and I’m excited to keep growing this community and offering realistic, achievable wellness solutions.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It’s been smooth in the sense that I’m more convinced than ever that this is an offering so many women need. Most fitness programs aren’t designed with moms in mind. Our schedules are chaotic, and our time is often not our own. As more and more moms join our community, I’m reminded that this mission is so important, and that part of the journey has felt seamless.

But on the practical side, it hasn’t been nearly as smooth. We’ve had to pivot a bit to find ways to support women no matter where they are geographically and in their wellness journey, and figuring out the best version of our program to do that has been a challenge. We’re always learning, tweaking, and improving each day, but it’s the mission that keeps us moving forward, even when we hit setbacks.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your business?
WellMamas is a wellness platform and mobile app designed specifically for busy moms. We focus on fitness, nutrition, and emotional well-being, providing moms with the tools they need to take care of themselves without the overwhelm. What sets us apart is our practical approach—everything we offer is designed to fit into the reality of motherhood. We know moms are juggling a million things, so our goal is to make wellness achievable, without adding more stress.

We specialize in holistic wellness solutions that address everything from physical fitness (with workout programs that can be done at home or on the go) to nutrition and mindset support. We are known for our no-nonsense approach that speaks to the real challenges moms face, and for creating a community where women can connect, support each other, and feel understood.

What I’m most proud of is how our community has grown. It’s incredible to see moms from all walks of life come together, and I love that we’ve built a space where they can be themselves, share their experiences, and feel empowered in their wellness journeys. Our WellMamas app, digital products, and 1:1 coaching services are all designed with the understanding that every mom is at a different stage, and we meet them where they’re at to help them thrive.

Ultimately, I want readers to know that WellMamas isn’t just another fitness program—it’s a supportive, realistic approach to wellness that’s designed by a mom for moms. Whether you’re a new mom, a seasoned pro, or somewhere in between, our goal is to help you take care of yourself, without the guilt or overwhelm.

Networking and finding a mentor can have such a positive impact on one’s life and career. Any advice?
Finding a mentor and networking can feel intimidating, but I believe it’s about building authentic relationships. For me, it’s been about seeking out people who genuinely align with my values and mission, rather than just focusing on titles or status. Look for mentors who not only have experience but also a willingness to support and guide you through the ups and downs of entrepreneurship.

What’s worked well for me is being proactive in connecting with people who are doing work I admire, and being open to learning from their journeys. Don’t be afraid to reach out—many people are more than willing to offer advice or just chat about their experiences. I’ve found that networking isn’t just about asking for help but about offering something in return, whether that’s a unique perspective, shared resources, or just being a genuine sounding board.

Also, don’t limit yourself to traditional mentorship models. I’ve had several mentors who didn’t know they were mentoring me—they simply shared their knowledge or experiences, and I learned from that. Look for opportunities to be in spaces where you can meet like-minded people, and don’t be afraid to get vulnerable and ask for advice when needed.
