Today we’d like to introduce you to Brandie Marie.

Hi Brandie , please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
My journey into the esthetics and lash industry really started with my passion for helping women feel confident, polished, and cared for — not just physically, but emotionally too. I’ve always been someone who values integrity, hard work, and relationships, and I wanted to build something that reflected those values.

I actually began my career at a young age, starting in the dental field at just 20 years old, where I became a licensed dental assistant — a license I still hold today. That experience gave me a strong medical and sanitation foundation, attention to detail, and a deep understanding of client care and safety, all of which I carry into my esthetics practice today.

I built Dream Lash Boutique as a private, client-focused studio where quality, safety, and education come first. From the beginning, my goal was never to just “do lashes.” I wanted to create an experience where clients felt comfortable, understood, and truly taken care of. I invested heavily into continued education, product research, and perfecting my technique because I believe our industry only gets better when we hold ourselves to higher standards.

Like many entrepreneurs, I built this while balancing being a wife, a mom of two, and running multiple business ventures. In 2023, I expanded into the fitness and wellness space by opening my first HOTWORX location, and I am currently working toward opening my second location. That season of life really shaped how I operate today — structured, intentional, and always focused on long-term results over shortcuts.

Over time, I’ve expanded my vision beyond lashes into advanced skin services and wellness-focused treatments, because I truly believe beauty and confidence are connected to overall skin health and self-care. Today, I’m proud to have built businesses that are known for integrity, consistency, and results — and I’m still growing, learning, and evolving every single day

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It definitely has not been a perfectly smooth road — and I think that’s true for most entrepreneurs who are building something meaningful.

One of the biggest challenges has been learning how to balance being a business owner, a wife, and a mom while still trying to grow and evolve professionally. There were seasons where I was building my business during nap times, late nights, and early mornings. Entrepreneurship doesn’t come with an off switch, and learning how to create boundaries while still chasing big goals has been a huge growth area for me.

Another challenge has been navigating an industry that is not always regulated or rooted in integrity. I’ve always been very passionate about doing things the right way — using quality products, prioritizing safety, continuing education, and being honest with clients about what is best for their natural lashes and skin health. Standing firm in those values, even when shortcuts exist, has sometimes been difficult but has ultimately helped build long-term trust with my clients.

Expanding into additional business ventures, like opening my first HOTWORX location in 2023 and now working toward my second, has also come with its own learning curves — from staffing and operations to financial strategy and growth planning. But each challenge has made me a stronger leader and business owner.

If anything, the struggles have shaped how I operate today. They’ve taught me resilience, patience, and the importance of building businesses that are sustainable, ethical, and built to truly serve people — not just generate transactions.

Dream Lash Boutique is a private, client-focused esthetics studio built around quality, education, and results. I specialize in custom lash extension services and advanced skin-focused treatments designed to support overall skin health, not just surface-level beauty. Every service is tailored to the individual client — their lifestyle, natural lash or skin condition, and long-term goals.

What I am most known for is my integrity and attention to detail. I am very intentional about product quality, sanitation standards, continued education, and making sure every client receives honest recommendations — even if that means recommending less service instead of more. I believe beauty services should never compromise the health of someone’s natural lashes or skin.

What really sets my brand apart is the level of personalization and care. Because I operate in a private studio setting, my clients aren’t rushed through appointments. They get education, customized treatment planning, and a consistent experience every time they walk through my door. I focus heavily on retention, natural lash health, and long-term skin results rather than quick, temporary fixes.

Brand-wise, I am most proud that Dream Lash Boutique has built a reputation for trust, consistency, and professionalism. My clients know they are walking into a space where they will be taken care of, listened to, and treated with honesty. That has always been more important to me than volume or trends.

Looking forward, I am continuing to expand into advanced skin and wellness-focused services because I believe confidence comes from overall self-care, not just one treatment. I want readers to know that my brand is built on the idea that beauty should feel empowering, safe, and sustainable — and that every client deserves a provider who truly has their best interest in mind.

What were you like growing up?
Growing up, I was actually very shy and reserved. I was more of an observer than the loudest person in the room. I paid attention to details, people’s emotions, and how situations affected others. Looking back, I think that really shaped who I am today, especially in a client-based industry where listening and understanding people is everything.

I’ve always been very driven and hardworking, even at a young age. Once I set my mind to something, I wanted to learn everything I could about it and do it well. I cared a lot about doing things the right way and being someone people could rely on.

As I got older, especially through my career and becoming a business owner, I grew into my voice and my confidence. I’m still naturally more reserved than outgoing, but I’ve learned how to lead, communicate, and advocate — for my clients, my businesses, and my family.

I think starting off as someone shy actually helped shape my approach to business. I understand what it feels like to want to feel comfortable, safe, and not judged — and that’s something I’ve built into my brand and the client experience I create today.
