Today we’d like to introduce you to Brooke Green.
Hi Brooke, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I began my design journey in 2011 by renovating homes throughout the Midwest, gaining hands-on experience that shaped the way I approach every project. From there, I managed a countertop showroom, then transitioned into managing design and product procurement for over 50 builders and remodelers across the region.
In 2018, I moved to Dallas and launched Brooke Green Home. My background in construction, building materials, and project management allows me to streamline the design process—from concept to completion. I grew up in a family of entrepreneurs, and that instilled a strong work ethic from an early age. I’m also very type A, which comes in handy when managing timelines, budgets, and all the moving parts that go into a successful renovation or new construction project.
Today, I bring that same passion, structure, and attention to detail into every project—creating spaces that are not only beautiful, but thoughtfully built for real life.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Has the road been smooth? Not at all—but I believe the struggles are what mold and shape you. Every challenge brings clarity and growth. We’ve developed a sharp eye for vetting contractors and have been fortunate to work alongside some of the best in DFW for years. Like many in the industry, COVID was a wake-up call. It pushed us to pivot, and we now source the majority of our products from American-made vendors. The challenges will keep coming, but with the right mindset, they become stepping stones to a better, stronger business.
Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
At Brooke Green Home, we specialize in high-end remodeling, new construction design, and turnkey furnishings. What truly sets us apart is our unique and transparent approach to budgeting. We’re incredibly intentional about how we plan and communicate costs, which has become one of the hallmarks of our brand. While many clients come to us after being surprised by rising costs with other firms, we take pride in offering clarity and structure from the start—avoiding the hidden fees or mid-project surprises that are all too common in this industry.
In addition to full-service remodels and construction design, we also offer turnkey furnishing services. This has become a favorite among our new construction clients, as we fully furnish and style their homes in just 1–2 days, allowing them to move right in without lifting a finger. It’s a white-glove experience that brings function and beauty together seamlessly.
What I’m most proud of is the reputation we’ve built for being organized, honest, and thorough. Our clients trust us not only for our design expertise, but for the level of professionalism we bring to every project. At the end of the day, we’re here to make the process feel exciting, not overwhelming—and to deliver homes that are just as livable as they are beautiful.
Before we let you go, we’ve got to ask if you have any advice for those who are just starting out?
Go with your gut—every time. Not every client is worth working with, and that’s okay. It may sound cutthroat, but choosing clients who respect your process is essential. When you take on clients who try to control the outcome or dictate how to do your job, it almost always leads to frustration and a poor result.
Trust your expertise, lead with confidence, and create a structured process that you stand behind. The right clients will value that, and that’s how you build a strong reputation and a sustainable business.
