Hi Carla, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
The origin story starts around 2007. I was actually planning my own wedding and discovered that the level of customer service in the industry 17 years ago was not exceptional and I saw an opportunity to build an organization that went above and beyond for clients. I officially started Trade Sensation Events in 2008 and have been helping clients build the wedding of their dreams ever since!
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Overall, It was very smooth all the way through. We saw significant growth year after year and I was able to build on that and evolve to keep up with the changing times. Our biggest struggle is always manpower and finding more staff during peak season who can freelance with us as business requires. Over the years, I am fortunate to have been able to build one of the largest wedding planning teams in Canada, who have the skills and professionalism to offer our clients exactly what they need and more!

Trade Sensation Events and Co specializes in Day of Coordination, Full Planning, Decor and Floral as well as, we also own an Academy, www.TSWA.ca and offer a job shadowing mentorship courses for anyone looking to get into the industry.
