Inspiring Conversations with Chelsea Bryant

Today we’d like to introduce you to Chelsea Bryant.

Hi Chelsea, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today.
I’ve always wanted to make t-shirts and create a business for myself but was afraid to take the leap of faith and actually do it. Raising two daughters and working a full-time job, I had no idea how I would manage my current job and add a business into the mix. When COVID hit, I decided it was now or never. I bought all the equipment needed and created my business. Not only do I sell t-shirts, I also host market events to help other small businesses sell their items.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
I’ve only been in business for 1.5 years, and of course, the hardest thing so far is funding everything for myself out of my own pocket. With inflation rising, everything cost way more. Creating a new business has hardships but with research, time and dedication it has paid off.

Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
My business is a custom t-shirt business! I have two daughters whose names start with M which is where Msquared came from. I would say that what sets my business apart from others is the advantage of being a small business. When someone reaches out to my company, they are talking to me, a live person, not a computer or prompts. I believe that being able to have a conversation with someone means way more than clicking buttons. It creates a relationship! I would love for people to know that I can help with any shirt idea ranging from infant to 5x. I can help with schools events, business, birthdays or even personal ideas.

What do you like and dislike about the city?
I love that my city has such a variety of people and uniqueness. As a city we come together and all sippy each other.
