Inspiring Conversations with Daniell Garland-Booker of Stellar Professional Services

Today we’d like to introduce you to Daniell Garland-Booker.

Hi Daniell, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.

Thank you so much for allowing me to share my story. Service has always been at the heart of everything I do. I’m a United States Army veteran proudly having served from 1988 to 1996, including a tour in the Persian Gulf region during Operation Desert Shield and Desert Storm. Those years shaped my character and taught me the values of discipline, resilience, and integrity — lessons that continue to guide me every single day.

After my military service, I found a new way to give back by teaching 3rd and 4th grade for Cedar Hill ISD. Working with children reminded me of the power of patience, compassion, and encouragement. Watching my students grow gave me the same sense of pride and purpose I felt while serving my country — just in a different uniform.

Today, I continue that spirit of service as a Texas-commissioned Notary Public, a certified Remote Online Notary (RON) and Signing Agent, credentialed by the National Notary Association (NNA) and Notary2Pro. I’m fully background screened, bonded, and insured, and I approach every signing with professionalism, care, and attention to detail.

Before becoming a notary, I worked as a Realtor and Loan Officer, experiences that gave me a deep understanding of real estate and financial transactions. That background allows me to help clients navigate important paperwork with clarity, accuracy, and confidence.

I specialize in loan signings and general notarizations, always striving to make each experience smooth, secure, and stress-free — whether I’m meeting with a client in person or online.

I understand that behind every document I notarize is a meaningful milestone — a dream home, a new opportunity, or a family legacy. It’s an honor to be part of those moments and to serve my community with honesty, reliability, and heart.

Through my business, Stellar Professional Services, I’m committed to providing professional, compassionate, and dependable notary services throughout Texas. My goal is simple — to combine precision with personal care, ensuring every client feels respected, supported, and confident in every step of the process. For me, notarizing isn’t just about signatures; it’s about serving people with integrity and heart.

Beyond my career, I’m a proud mother and grandmother, and my family is truly my greatest source of inspiration. They remind me every day why hard work, faith, and perseverance matter. Watching my children and grandchildren grow, chase their dreams, and overcome challenges fills me with pride and purpose.

Family has always grounded me — through my military service, my years in education, and now as a business owner. They’ve been my motivation to keep pushing forward, even when things get tough. Every achievement, every satisfied client, and every milestone in my business is a reflection of the values my family instilled in me: love, integrity, and service to others.

Their support fuels my determination to lead by example — to show them that with dedication, kindness, and faith, anything is possible. They are my “why,” and everything I do, I do with them in mind.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Like any profession, being a notary and signing agent comes with its own set of challenges — and I’ve found that every obstacle offers an opportunity to grow, learn, and serve better. My journey through the military, education, and real estate has prepared me to handle each one with grace and determination.

One of the biggest challenges in this field is working under pressure. Loan signings and closings often happen on tight deadlines, with multiple parties waiting on the results. My years in the Army taught me how to stay calm and focused in high-stress situations. I learned to follow procedures carefully, double-check every detail, and never cut corners — skills that serve me well when accuracy and timing matter most.

Another challenge is keeping up with constant changes in laws, technology, and digital notarization platforms. As a former teacher, I actually enjoy the learning process. I see every update or new system as a chance to grow. That mindset helps me stay current, compliant, and confident no matter how the industry evolves.

Building trust and comfort with clients is also essential. Many people are nervous when signing important documents — especially first-time homebuyers or families handling sensitive legal matters. My teaching experience and my natural patience help me connect with people on a personal level. I take time to explain the process, answer questions, and make sure every client feels respected and reassured.

Of course, real estate and loan signings can be complex. My background as both a Realtor and Loan Officer gives me an inside understanding of the documents and the emotions involved. I know what each signature means — a new home, a financial goal, or a family milestone — and I treat every transaction with the care it deserves.

Lastly, as a business owner, finding balance can be tough. Running a notary business means managing appointments, communication, and paperwork, often while trying to make time for family. But I draw strength from my military discipline and my experience as a mother and grandmother. I’ve learned to stay organized, focused, and flexible — always remembering why I do what I do.

Each challenge I face reminds me that this work isn’t just about notarizing documents. It’s about serving people — with integrity, compassion, and a genuine desire to make their lives a little easier.

As you know, we’re big fans of Stellar Professional Services. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
My business, Stellar Professional Services, was built on a foundation of integrity, precision, and genuine care for people**. As a Texas-commissioned Notary Public and certified Remote Online Notary (RON) and Signing Agent, credentialed by the National Notary Association (NNA) and Notary2Pro, I specialize in loan signings and general notarizations throughout Texas — both in person and online.

What truly sets Stellar Professional Services apart is the combination of professionalism and personal attention I bring to every signing. I understand that behind every document is a meaningful life event — a dream home, a business milestone, a legal matter, or a family legacy. I take pride in handling each signing with accuracy, confidentiality, and compassion, ensuring my clients feel comfortable, informed, and confident every step of the way.

My background as a Realtor and Loan Officer gives me a deep understanding of the real estate and financial side of the process. That experience allows me to navigate complex transactions smoothly while maintaining clear communication with clients, lenders, and escrow officers. Whether I’m completing a mortgage closing or notarizing a single signature, I approach every appointment with the same level of dedication and care.

What I’m most proud of, brand-wise, is the trust I’ve built with my clients. I’ve worked hard to create a business known for dependability, professionalism, and a personal touch. Many of my clients tell me they appreciate that I not only know my work but also take time to explain, reassure, and connect.

At its core, Stellar Professional Services isn’t just about documents — it’s about people. My mission is to make every signing experience smooth, secure, and stress-free while upholding the highest standards of integrity and respect. For me, notarizing isn’t simply a task; it’s an opportunity to serve others with heart, excellence, and genuine care.

We’d be interested to hear your thoughts on luck and what role, if any, you feel it’s played for you?
I believe luck has played a role in my journey — but I also believe that luck favors the prepared. In the notary and loan signing industry, success isn’t built on chance alone; it’s built on consistency, professionalism, and trust.

According to the National Notary Association, there are over 4.4 million notaries in the United States, and only a small percentage — less than 10% — go on to become certified signing agents or remote online notaries. That means competition is strong, and opportunities often come to those who are ready, reliable, and well-trained.

For me, “good luck” has shown up when preparation met opportunity — like when a client referred me after a great experience or when a title company reached out because of my reputation for accuracy and dependability. Those moments may look like luck from the outside, but they’re really the result of showing up, staying professional, and treating every signing with care.

Of course, there have been challenges too — what some might call “bad luck.” There have been canceled appointments, last-minute document changes, or slow business seasons. But my time in the Army taught me resilience, and my experience as a teacher and Realtor taught me patience and adaptability. Instead of seeing setbacks as bad luck, I view them as lessons that make me stronger and more prepared for what’s next.

In this business, luck might open a door — but it’s integrity, consistency, and heart that keep it open.
