Today we’d like to introduce you to Elizabeth Marie.
Elizabeth, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
My inspiration came from Humans of New York. I began Flourish Media SP, now Flourish Multi-Media, LLC (which I operate Double E under) two years ago when I started taking pictures and capturing people’s stories through them. I got the idea of doing the same for business owners and sharing their stories. I started working for a small business in McKinney, Texas, where there was a podcast room that was not being used. I had the idea to transition from just photos to video and audio and make it something even bigger, and thus Double E by Elizabeth Marie was born with the first episode launching October 9, 2020!
Double E or Elevating Entrepreneurs is a platform where entrepreneurs connect to grow. The mission of Double E is to elevate YOU through empowerment and education and provide a platform to share your story and your journey in entrepreneurship. My overall vision is to create a community of like-minded individuals that can support, encourage and grow together. Double E is the home for the system disrupters, innovators, creators, and corporate misfits. It is a place for You! I am excited to continue to connect and grow the entrepreneur community in Dallas, across the US and the world! The sky is the limit for us at Double E by Elizabeth Marie!
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
This is a question I ask a lot of those I interview. Hahaha, of course, there are challenges! Any business owner will go through obstacles, but it is what makes us better and stronger. I had to begin on a “shoe-string budget.” I was blessed to have had the opportunity to utilize my old work’s podcast room, friends help with graphics, photography, videography, and even screen printing our first shirts, our signature design “Built Local, Elevating You” when getting started. I constantly bounce ideas off of my friends and family. My dad’s good friend who is a lawyer even helped me register my business.
I started with a lot of help and am so thankful for everyone who helped and is helping me along the way. You all are a true blessing and there are so many to name, but special shoutouts to my parents, my dear friend Hannah, and Tim Curren. I couldn’t have done it without you all and many more!
Entrepreneurship definitely humbles you and challenges you- has you on your toes and appreciative of the little things! I have learned graphic design on my own, how to build a website, edit and record audio and video, social media pages and platforms and so much more! It is definitely a growing and learning process and I am constantly striving to learn and know more. I think it’s a never-ending journey because as a creative entrepreneur, there is always something else you can create or do or someone I can connect with to grow!

Double E (Elevating Entrepreneurs) by Elizabeth Marie is a podcast, platform, and community where entrepreneurs can connect through empowerment and education to share their stories. It provides a platform for their voices to be heard, for them to communicate their unique stories, their trials, and tribulations of failure and successes, and promote their brand-helping others learn from their stories and wisdom and creating more exposure for their respective businesses to gain new connections and potential clients.
I specialize in elevating entrepreneurs, highlighting their successes and brands to elevate them to the next level in their businesses and lives. My brand is heavily focused on building a community of successful entrepreneurs and a platform for them to engage on and grow in. I am proud that my brand, Double E, always strives to help others and partner with the community and those across the US and the world who want to connect and have access to a positive and impactful growing community of intellectuals, dreamers, corporate misfits, and entrepreneurs across the world.
Double E offers several services! We can do a virtual interview and promote your brand on our podcast platforms along with a post on our Facebook and Instagram pages. We can also do an in-person interview at our local studio with audio and video and share that to our audiences on our podcast platforms, Facebook and Instagram pages, and our YouTube page. We also offer a third interview-style- on-site, where we come out to your place of business with a videographer and record the interview at your place of business. This content would also be shared to our audiences on our podcast platforms as well as our socials: Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube. We can also customize packages and do a combination or help you with mini-promotions or commercials for your brand for marketing purposes! Is there something surprising that you feel even people who know you might not know about?
I have a fear of heights! But last year, I took a solo trip and overcame that fear by going ziplining across the Broken Bow Lake in Oklahoma! The longest line of 6 was across the lake at 1,100 feet!!!
