Today we’d like to introduce you to Erin Titensor.
Hi Erin, so excited to have you on the platform. So, before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
Hello friends! I’m Erin Titensor! I am a life and business coaching for women who are ready to upgrade and expand their lives. I started my first business in 2018, Simple and Blush, an e-commerce store and that’s really where my story began. I started sharing my story online around my experience depression, anxiety, and suicide in 2018. I just had my 2nd baby boy (they were 18 months apart) and was in deep deep post-partum depression. My husband was also traveling a lot for work which meant I was on my own dealing with internal and external battles. Once I started opening up and sharing what I was and had gone through throughout my life, I started to gain deep connections with other women online that were going through similar experiences.
Fast forward a couple months into sharing, I got another entrepreneur hit (I’ve had many failed hits) and decided to create a product for moms to wear. I never graduated from college and I have two boys 2 and under at home, a traveling husband, and NO idea where to start. I watched YouTube videos at night on how to start a business, create and design websites, found a manufacturer in China to source this product idea I had in my mind, create another business Instagram account, and the list goes on and on. THANK YOU, GOOGLE AND YOUTUBE.
Simple and Blush made a little over $100,000 in less than 18 months. I’d never seen money like that in my life. One of my favorite days was a specific color launch day and we closed out the day at $15,000 in 12 hours. IT WAS AMAZING.
Also, during this time, I found a life coach that I was listening to on podcasts that changed my life. I realized very quickly that my whole life was changing in all categories when I started to work on myself. After 6 months of listening to her podcast, I decided to go all-in on a worldwide known certification program. I received my life and health coach certification through, The Life Coach School, with Brooke Castillo. And well… the rest is history! haha Completely changed my life.
I started my coaching business in 2019 as I was going through certification and my business has grown and grown every single year.
Currently, I only offer exclusive 1:1 private coaching packages and 3 courses for others to buy. I am a Trauma-Informed Breathwork Facilitator, Certified Life, Health, and Business Coach and I’m making more money than I ever knew possible.
I have a podcast with weekly episodes called, The CEO Mindset Method.
I say this all to inspire those of you who feel the pull to make, have, and want more. It’s all available to you. Your desires want you just as much as you want them.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
HAHA! Absolutely not. To be honest, when I started Simple and Blush, I spent all of the money that came in. I was a raging spendaholic. I never saw money like that and didn’t know what to do with it!
A huge part of my coaching business is getting used to the things that go wrong and not making them mean ANYTHING about you or your capabilities. If the road was smooth all of the time, we wouldn’t even know it!
A big struggle that I go through (and most of my clients’ experience) is navigating our role as a CEO mom and CEO business owner. Kids get sick, plans change, school gets cancelled because of the random ice storms that role through Texas. As CEOs that’s part of what we sign up for. Navigating those obstacles and creating fun, organized strategies around them are a huge part of what I do with my clients and in my personal life.
Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
When clients come to me for private 1:1 coaching, they are looking for permission slips. They don’t know that in the beginning but it’s want they want.
They want permission to make and want more money.
They want permission to make decisions that feel good to them (even if no one else understands).
They want permission to break generational patterns that have held them back from living into what they feel called to do.
I focus on all of that. You get to have it all. We weren’t taught that growing up. You get to believe that every time you spend present moments with your children, your business grows in those moments.
You don’t have to choose between different wants and desires.
It’s also very freeing when you become proof of what is possible.
When you make more money, others make more money.
When you love hard, others love harder.
When you rise, others rise.
So why not go after and have everything you desire? It helps everyone even if you can’t see it.
When you go after what you want, it gives others the permission to do the same and I think that is a huge lesson we can teach ourselves and our children.
What matters most to you? Why?
Love this question. So many thoughts. Soul connection, deep conversations, money, love, kindness, pleasure, peace, success all matter to me.
The thing that matter most to me is helping souls find themselves again. Not settling for the current version of who they are right now because that’s just a bunch of programs and patterns that they downloaded into their human experience a long time ago. I help them find the REAL version of themselves, the version of them that existed before anyone or anything told them they should be a certain way.
It matters to me to teach this to my children. No one needs to be fixed. You get to be you. All parts of you are welcome here. The good the bad, the ugly. ALL parts are welcome here and all parts of you are loved.
