Today we’d like to introduce you to Giselle Quintanilla
Hi Giselle, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
Ready Writer Services LLC was birthed from a simple favor to a friend and a single act of obedience. In June of 2018, I found myself frustrated and lost, trying to figure out what to do after 10 years in the corporate world. I linked up with my incredible friend, Thilana, and she helped hold me accountable to my dreams of starting a faith-based blog for women and my desire to empower and encourage them in their faith. Shortly after, I launched my blog and published my first book, Armed and Purposed: 5 Principal Truths to Discover Your Purpose. This book encouraged my amazing friend, Jasmine, to press forward with her book, and I offered to edit it. Her book opened many doors for her – speaking engagements, radio show interviews, and other business opportunities.
From there, another mutual friend decided to share her testimony of faith via a book. God had placed it on her heart years ago, but she didn’t know how to start. So, I worked with her on her manuscript about pregnancy struggles and infant loss. This book has become a movement, and God is doing amazing things for, in and through her. She sold hundreds of books nationally and internationally within a month of being published. Her book inspired so many others to share their stories.
This is where Ready Writer Services LLC came from in October of 2018. It was my desire to help others tell their story. And through their stories bring hope and light to others. I help aspiring authors write bestselling books. Since then, I’ve published 5 faith-based books centered on personal development. Today, I not only help people write, publish, and promote their books but I also offer coaching to other entrepreneurs and online courses, and I am a speaker.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It hasn’t always been a smooth road. I always say that entrepreneurship is not for the faint of heart. There are always highs and lows in business, peak times and slow times. All the while, you’re still living your life as you serve others with your business. The key is to press. In 2020, during the pandemic, my marriage fell apart. I found myself in the middle of a separation and moving to divorce. I had to figure out how to raise my kids in a global pandemic, deal with a broken relationship, and heal from emotional hurt, all while running my business. The highs and lows aren’t always business related, but whether they are or are not, it helps to keep pressing when you understand that this is what you’re called to do. I was able to focus on my family and my healing and balance focusing on business.
Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
