Inspiring Conversations with Gwyneth Ndikaka of WNDRS

Today we’d like to introduce you to Gwyneth Ndikaka

Hi Gwyneth, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
Hi! My name is Gwyneth Ndikaka, and I am the Founder and CEO of WNDRS! I’m from Euless, Texas, and after graduating from Trinity High School, I took a major leap of faith and attended Mississippi State—where I had no family or friends. Growing up in the same town all my life, I realized that to truly grow, I needed to step out of my comfort zone and challenge myself in a completely new environment. I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Biology with a minor in Business Administration, intending to pursue medical school. However, after completing my Bachelor’s degree in 2.5 years, I found myself completely burned out and unsure of my next steps. I decided to take a step back to pray, travel, and seek God’s direction for my future.

Traveling after graduation, especially solo, was pivotal in my journey. It gave me the space to heal, reflect, and grow in ways I never expected. Each new place became an opportunity to pause, think, and rediscover both the world around me and the purpose within me. It wasn’t just about the destinations, it was about rediscovering who I was and who God was calling me to be. Traveling not only gave me clarity, but it also opened my heart to new possibilities.

During that time, I also started searching for homes, and after about six or seven months, God miraculously opened the door for me to become a first-time homeowner in South Dallas. I viewed the home on a Thursday, and by Friday—less than 24 hours later—my offer was accepted, even though what I was approved for was less than the listing price. This was nothing but a miracle, and I believe I was planted here for a reason—to be one of the many vessels in this community and to fulfill the mission God has placed on my heart.

Through every step of my journey, I’ve learned that God’s plans are always greater than our own, and I’m committed to walking in faith wherever He leads me.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
My journey has been anything but smooth. I’ve faced my share of highs and lows, but I truly believe that every obstacle, struggle, and setback has shaped me into the woman and leader that I am today. On a personal level, I’ve wrestled with a lack of self-confidence, fear, hopelessness, and grief. Letting go of the past has been one of my biggest struggles, and there have been many moments where I’ve felt like I was falling behind in life.

From a business perspective, the road has been just as challenging. Bouncing back after losses tested my resilience, and staying consistent through every season—especially the difficult ones—has taught me the value of perseverance. I’ve also learned some very tough lessons about the importance of building a strong business foundation. My impatience to understand the deeper mechanics of running a business has cost me thousands of dollars along the way.

Yet, through it all, I’ve come to realize that my struggles weren’t setbacks, they were setups for something greater. Every challenge has taught me something valuable and helped me grow in every area of my life. The road may not have been smooth, but it’s led me to a place of greater strength, wisdom, clarity, and faith – and for that, I’m grateful.

Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
WNDRS is wonders—a movement created to help people experience the awe-inspiring wonders of God and fully embrace the life He has planned for them. Our mission is to ignite a sense of wonder, deepen faith, and celebrate the beauty of God’s creation through unforgettable experiences. From life-changing travel adventures to vibrant community events, we aim to inspire, uplift, and empower individuals to see and live out the incredible possibilities that await them.

Our very first initiative, The WNDRS Travel Experience, is all about creating life-changing moments for young people in our South Dallas community. In May 2025, we are taking 30 kids from South Dallas on a fully paid trip to Disney World in Orlando, Florida. This trip will be an opportunity for them to step outside of their everyday environments, embrace new experiences, and inspire them to dream bigger.

WNDRS isn’t just for kids or about travel. It’s for people of all ages and is designed to foster community and personal growth. We host monthly prayer and worship nights to create spaces for fellowship and connection. We’re also planning to organize community events that allow people to engage, grow, and feel supported.

What sets WNDRS apart is that it’s not just about the experience—it’s about the transformation. We want to inspire people to believe in more for their lives and to understand that God’s wonders are not just seen in distant places but also within themselves. I’m most proud of how WNDRS reflects both faith and action—helping people see the beauty of God’s creation while also discovering the greatness He’s placed within them.

Beyond our core mission, we invite partners to join us in making a lasting impact. Whether you’re interested in providing financial support, or amplifying our message, there are numerous ways to get involved. We are actively raising funds for the WNDRS Travel Experience, aiming to raise $30,000, and we’re thrilled to announce that we have already raised $10,000 since we started in February 2025. Every partnership and contribution brings us closer to our mission, and we believe that together, we can work miracles in the lives of many. If we knew you growing up, how would we have described you?
Growing up in Euless, Texas, I was deeply involved in school, sports, and church—environments that instilled in me a passion for community and a heart for people. From a young age, I found joy in inviting my friends to church and church camps, eager to share the life-changing experiences and values that had so positively shaped my own journey. I’ve always been entrepreneurial, driven by a desire to make a meaningful impact both in my family and in the world around me. From selling snacks at school to raise funds for mission trips to starting work at 14 years old and juggling up to 3 jobs to pursue my many goals, I was determined to create positive change from an early age.

I’m immensely thankful for every teacher, coach, and mentor who poured into me and continue to uplift me to this day, as well as the church leaders who helped strengthen my faith. My family and friends mean everything to me, and I’m deeply grateful for their unwavering encouragement and support. A special shoutout goes to my mom, who prioritized exposing us to experiences beyond our hometown. She believed that broadening our horizons would expand our dreams, strengthen our faith, and give us a bigger perspective on life. Those experiences shaped me, and they’re exactly what I aim to create for others through WNDRS.
