Today we’d like to introduce you to Hassan Bawab.
Hassan Bawab (born July 8, 1980) is a Lebanese American entrepreneur, author, speaker, and cryptocurrency expert. He is the founder and CEO of Magic Logix, ASIMI, and Cryptela. He was also the president of Arab American Cultural Society (AACS) from 2018 to 2020.
Early life and education
Bawab was born in Beirut on July 8, 1980, and moved to the USA in 1999. In 2000, Bawab went to the University of North Texas, where he studied computer science and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in 2004. In 2011, he completed a certification in marketing at Southern Methodist University. Bawab also holds degrees in mathematics and technical writing.
Career
In 2005, Bawab joined FedEx as a senior technical analyst. During that time, he had already founded Magic Logix, a digital marketing agency. He left FedEx in 2007 and started working full-time for his company. In 2018, Bawab served as the Arab American Cultural Society president for a year. As the president, he played a significant role in promoting the Arab culture in America and raising awareness about Arab culture among the American public.
After the success of his startup, Magic Logix, Bawab entered into the cryptocurrency industry and launched two ventures in 2021, Cryptela and ASIMI. Cryptela provides news, reviews, and education about cryptocurrency, trading, and mining, while ASIMI is a crypto token. In May 2022, he became the managing partner of Crimson Coward, a fast-food chain.
Bawab publishes articles about innovative web development, ecommerce strategies, marketing automation, SEO trends, and digital marketing. In 2012, he published his book, “How to Work with a Digital Marketing Agency.” The book discusses digital marketing and how to use marketing tools and automation.
Bawab is also a public speaker and has spoken on several platforms, including the University of North Texas, Google, Inbound Marketing Summit, SMX, Drupal Days, Social Media Club, and industry conventions.
Accolades
In 2016, Bawab received the Dallas Business Journal’s Minority Leaders Awards and was named to its Top 40 CEOs Under 40 list in 2011. He was also selected as one of the Top 14 Marketers in Dallas Fort Worth. He has been honored as a guest lecturer at global events and conferences, including the University of North Texas, the University of Texas at Dallas, and Southern Methodist University.
