Hi Iysha, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
You ever feel lost? Or feel like you’re missing something in life? Like there is a bigger purpose for your life but not sure what it is? Well, that was me. I felt like there was something I was supposed to be doing. I felt that I had a bigger purpose. Like there was a calling on my life. Like God had something bigger for me. I prayed and asked the Lord to guide me and show me what He has for me. And He did. I knew I was supposed to make people feel good, pretty, confident, and secure about themselves. But I wasn’t sure how. And then it came to me. I started studying beauty and all things included. Skincare, Micro shading Brows, Lip Blushing, Lip Neutralization -Dark Lip Correction, Teeth Whitening, Scalp Micropigmentation, Body Contouring and so much more. I knew it was my time to open a spa and work for myself. No more working for someone else. No more requesting time off. Yes, to setting my own hours. Yes, to being my own boss!! I didn’t know how I was gonna do it but failure was not an option. I had to win, or I had to win. That’s it. No other option. I knew that the same God that gave me the ideas would give me clients. When you put God in the center of your life, anything can happen. And it’s been up ever since.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It hasn’t always been smooth and easy. In fact, there were times that I wanted to give up and quit. Throw in the towel and walk away but I knew failure wasn’t an option. I have too many people wanting me to win and too many people that I’m doing this for. I had no option other than to keep going. I knew the same God that gave me the business would bring me the client. So, I kept going.

Pamper Me Pretty Day Spa is a day spa that specializes in all things beautiful including Skincare, Micro shading Ombre Brows, Lip Blushing, Lip neutralization -Dark Lip Correction, and Scalp Micropigmentation, Teeth Whitening, and Body Contouring and Sculpting.
Some people have a job. Others have a career. But I on the other hand have a lifestyle. My spa is my life and I’m in love with it. Every part of it to be exact. The good days that bring be joy and passion, the bad days that make me wiser and stronger., and all the days in between. I’m still in love with it. I truly have a passion for what I do and it shows in my work. I once posted “I don’t need friends, I have clients” and I felt that in my soul. Lol. I love my clients and they love me back and that makes it all worth it.
When you put God in the center of your life, He moves. And when He moves, He really moves!!! In 2021 I had a dream. In 2022 it’s a reality. I started in my living room, and later rented a suite in the back of a beauty and barbershop, now here it is less than 1 year later, and I have my own building with 5 additional rooms that can be rented out to other like-minded ambitious beauty professionals. Ain’t God good?!?!
I want readers to know that when they come to Pamper Me Pretty Day Spa that it’s a safe space. A space to be unjudged. A place to feel at home, relaxed, and be pampered. It’s a place where all your beauty needs are met and that I care about each and every one of my clients. I want readers to know that my Gift came from God and in his name, I will make him proud.
Where do you see things going in the next 5-10 years?
I’m launching a skincare line as we speak. My first product was a beard growth oil. I service men and women and I wanted something to assist men with their beard game. So, I started with that. Now that it’s in the final stages, I’m working on the cleansers, scrubs, and moisturizers for women of all ages and skin types. After that, I will circle back to the men’s skincare line.
My teeth whitening has become just as big and popular as my facial. So, it’s only right that I offer “take-home teeth whitening kits”. I just received the first prototype of those and should launch them for sale by the 1st of June.
I now offer teeth whitening training and soon will be offering training for body contouring, micro shading ombré brows and lip blushing, and dark lip correction.
In the next 5-10 years I will have a beauty school offering training in all things beauty as well as a full product line. If I can achieve this much in less than a year, anything is possible within 5.
