Hi Jessica, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
My journey to becoming a real estate agent began back in 2017. I had always been passionate about real estate, but as is often the case, I was my own worst critic. I didn’t have any family here, and my social circle was quite small, which made me doubt whether I could succeed in such a competitive field.
However, in 2021, I decided it was time to overcome my fears and pursue my dream. I enrolled in real estate classes and, to my delight, passed my licensing test on the first try. Despite the initial challenges, my determination paid off. In my first year, I was honored to be named Rookie of the Year. This achievement validated my decision and proved that with hard work and perseverance, you can achieve your dreams, even when the odds seem stacked against you.
The journey has been challenging, but I absolutely love what I do. Helping people find their perfect home and navigate the real estate market is incredibly rewarding. It’s a career that allows me to make a real difference in people’s lives, and I couldn’t be happier with my decision to follow this path.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
My husband, my daughter and I moved to Texas 10 years ago, we have no family here and we had very few friends, so without a doubt not knowing many people here has been the most challenging for me, because I have had to build my business from scratch. When you get your license the first thing that they tell you is, tell your friends and family, but I didn’t have that.

I’m a real estate agent in the Dallas/ Fort Worth area and I specialize in first time homebuyers and new construction homes, What sets me apart from other real estate agents is my unwavering commitment to my clients. I pride myself on my honesty and genuine desire to help people. I approach every transaction with professionalism and loyalty, always putting my clients’ interests first. For me, being a real estate agent is not just about making a sale; it’s about building lasting relationships and making a real difference in people’s lives. I am dedicated to protecting my clients’ interests and ensuring they have the best possible experience.
We’re always looking for the lessons that can be learned in any situation, including tragic ones like the Covid-19 crisis. Are there any lessons you’ve learned that you can share?
