Hi Josh, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I’ve been in the residential housing industry in various roles over the last 20 years. I’ve lived in HOA communities and have a lot of friends and family that live in these communities as well and the common factor with all of them is the same thing, “Nobody is friendly or wanting/willing to help.”
A couple of years ago I was talking to a friend who started a similar company, and he kept pushing me to open mine, so I finally did last year, and I am building this company how I think it will best serve HOA communities, with a focus on communication, transparency and bringing value to the community.
We are a boutique HOA management group so that allows us to focus on providing the best experience as possible for your community while tailoring our services to what your community needs.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It’s been a lot of trial and error.
* I had to teach myself how to design a website after I was ripped off by a “website developer.”
* I’ve spent a lot of money on marketing materials that I never ended up using (wasted product/lesson learned)
* I’m currently teaching myself how to write/develop an app so I can roll that out in 2024
There have been A LOT of “No’s” and falling on my face but there’s been A LOT of lessons learned and Ws along the way and I wouldn’t change that for anything.
