Inspiring Conversations with Kayla Keck of Perfect 10 Rehab & Performance

Today we’d like to introduce you to Kayla Keck

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?

I’m a St. Louis native turned Texan and a dedicated sports chiropractor with a journey deeply rooted in my passion for athletics. Growing up as a competitive gymnast and later becoming a cheerleader at the University of Missouri, sports have always been at the heart of my life. After earning my Doctorate in Chiropractic and a Master’s in Sports Science and Rehabilitation at Logan University, I knew I wanted to turn my passion for athletics into my profession. My mission is simple: to keep athletes healthy and performing at their best.

In 2023, I founded Perfect 10 Rehab & Performance with a clear goal—to close the gap in care for gymnasts. As a former gymnast, I understand the unique physical demands and challenges of the sport. Gymnasts often lack access to specialized, preventative care, and I wanted to change that. Through P10, I provide tailored, comprehensive care to help these athletes prevent injuries, recover effectively, and optimize their performance.

I’m proud to be a trusted resource in the greater Dallas sports community, where I collaborate with coaches, trainers, and athletes to support their goals. My own athletic background shapes my personalized approach to care, ensuring every treatment is designed to meet the specific needs of the athlete in front of me. My greatest reward is seeing athletes stay strong, healthy, and ready to perform at their highest level.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Starting a small business in the sports chiropractic sector comes with its unique set of challenges. Building trust within the athletic community takes time, as athletes, coaches, and trainers must see the value of specialized care tailored to their needs. Establishing a client base often requires extensive networking and education, as many athletes are unaware of the benefits chiropractic care can offer for injury prevention and performance enhancement. Additionally, balancing the financial demands of starting a practice—such as investing in equipment, marketing, and continued education—while delivering high-quality, personalized care can be daunting. Despite these hurdles, the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on athletes’ lives makes the journey incredibly rewarding.

Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
At Perfect 10 Rehab and Performance the mission is to empower individuals to unleash their full athletic potential through a holistic approach to chiropractic care.
