Inspiring Conversations with Kiante Blakley of MedDivine Health, LLC

Today we’d like to introduce you to Kiante Blakley.

Hi Kiante, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My background is in healthcare administration. I earned my undergraduate degree in Health and Human Performance and went on to graduate school for Healthcare Administration. After graduating, I began my career in hospital administration at the start of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020.

While I was grateful to be employed during such an uncertain time, I quickly noticed that many of my former classmates and peers were struggling to find jobs in healthcare. They began reaching out to me for help, and I naturally started supporting them with resume enhancements, interview preparation, LinkedIn branding, and guidance on joining professional organizations to help with networking. As they began securing roles, they referred friends and family members to me, and what started informally grew into something I became deeply passionate about.

I continued using the same professional development approach to help individuals grow into confident, well-prepared professionals. In 2022, I learned more about the staffing industry and realized it aligned closely with what I was already doing: connecting people to meaningful opportunities. Through mentorship in the field, I began shaping a model that felt true to my values.

One key difference I wanted to bring into staffing was a strong emphasis on professional development. I believe it’s not enough to simply place someone in a role, but also walk alongside them before and during their journey, ensuring they are equipped to succeed, grow, and feel supported.

We were officially blessed to launch the company in April of 2024. Since then, it has been incredibly rewarding to see the impact we’ve made within healthcare organizations and empowering professionals in their careers.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It definitely has not been a smooth road. Like most businesses, there was a learning curve in finding the right healthcare partners and quality clinicians who aligned with our values and respected our company. It also took time to identify the specific niche we wanted to serve within healthcare, since there are so many different roles and paths.

Learning the business side came with trial and error, but I was fortunate to have strong mentors and be part of a business accelerator program that provided guidance and support. While there were challenges along the way, the journey has been incredibly rewarding, and I’m grateful for the organizations and professionals we work with who are deeply committed to patient-centered care.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
Our company is a faith-based healthcare staffing and professional development organization serving physical therapists, occupational therapists, and speech-language pathologists across Texas. We partner with healthcare organizations to provide high-quality, patient-centered therapy services while intentionally addressing the ongoing staffing shortages in healthcare.

What sets us apart is that we don’t just place clinicians, we invest in people. Alongside staffing, we specialize in mentorship and career development, offering resume enhancement, interview preparation, LinkedIn branding, one-on-one mentorship meetings, and structured short- and long-term goal tracking. We walk with our clinicians both before and during their assignments to ensure they feel supported, confident, and equipped to deliver excellent care.

Brand-wise, what we are most proud of is the culture we’ve built. Our focus on professional development directly translates into better patient outcomes. Many of our clinicians pursue advanced certifications, grow into leadership roles, and some are even supported as they explore starting their own practices. We aim to create a safe, values-driven space where healthcare professionals can grow not just in their careers, but as individuals.

At the core of everything we do is service to patients, clinicians, and to our healthcare partners. We want readers to know that our brand is rooted in faith, integrity, collaboration, and a genuine commitment to helping people thrive while delivering exceptional care.

What sort of changes are you expecting over the next 5-10 years?
Over the next 5–10 years, we see healthcare staffing continuing to evolve with an even greater emphasis on quality clinicians, flexibility, and patient-centered care. As staffing shortages persist, organizations will increasingly seek partners who not only fill roles, but also invest in developing and supporting clinicians long-term.

Our goal is to continue expanding across Texas, growing our team, and partnering with more healthcare organizations to provide excellent therapy services while prioritizing professional development. Beyond staffing, we aim to make a broader impact by offering scholarships to students pursuing careers in physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy, helping to strengthen the future workforce.

We also see a growing need for community engagement in healthcare. In the years ahead, we plan to expand our community service efforts across Texas to support those in need, building strong relationships, and creating opportunities for others. Ultimately, our vision is to be a premier healthcare staffing and development company that delivers outstanding patient care, supports healthcare organizations, serves the community, and gives glory to God through our work.
