Today we’d like to introduce you to Lane Milne
Hi Lane, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
We started getting into barbecue around 2013. We saved up money doing classes and caterings to build out our spot. We opened up in February 2020 just before the Covid pandemic. In October of 2021, we landed at number 1 on Texas monthly’s top 50 list!
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
While we were building out our spot we got delayed 9 or so months running into issues redoing our septic system
13 services after opening we switched to curbside for a while due to the COVID pandemic! We are tucked away from city so it wasn’t ideal for a new restaurant, because there’s not much foot traffic.
Luckily it all worked out for the best!
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
We are a Texas barbecue restaurant! We try to make the whole menu from scratch all the way down to the bread. We constantly try our food together to make sure it’s tasty and balanced!
Can you share something surprising about yourself?
We are 5 friends who grew up together and opened up our restaurant together!
