Today we’d like to introduce you to Macy Farr

Hi macy, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
My name is Macy Farr, Im in my 2nd year of real estate and property management. I knew college was not for me and I wanted to work straight out of highschool to start making and saving money for my future and future investments. I work with The Mardia Group Property Management and we are family owned and opperated. My dad is the broker of the company and started this business in the early 2000s when my sister and I were young. He knew he wanted to create generational success for his family, and since I was young I knew this is what I was born to go into and be apart of. Ive learned a lot over the last 2 years about people, connections, kindness, and truly knowing that when you help others, others will help you. There is a lot of business is the real estate industry but our company is strictly property management, meaning we don’t sell real estate. We have made it our goal and mission to partner with agents across the board to be able to create successful relationships without competition. I absolutely love what I do!

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Its been smoother than I thought, being able to have my family guide me and lead me in the right direction has been very helpful for my success. The struggle I carried the most was learning to adjust from a highschool student to a full time career over 1 summer break. It was a huge shift in my life but I wouldn’t want it any other way.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about The Mardia Group?
We are the Mardia Group Property Management, we have around 600-700 doors that we manage. We specialize in property management, this is why we do not sell real estate. We partner with agents across texas that refer us business, once their referred home comes back on the market for lease or for sale, we send it back to our referred partner! This is what makes TMG different from your average property management company and this is what we are known for. We are most proud of how far we have come in the last few years. adding more people to our company has become such a fun experience and helping us grow faster and faster, we love what we do and we have the best people around us. We want readers to know that we offer lower rates than your average management group, with the best and most services out there, keeping our owners and partnered agents happy! What has been the most important lesson you’ve learned along your journey?
For me personally, I think making sure you know what your doing and truly being honest with the people you work with and are working for. Creating good relationships starts with trusting one another with what you are bringing to the table. You never want anyone to feel as if you are taking advantage of them or using them in anyway. We are always here to give the best and most honest advice. Even if you have not failed at doing these tasks, being in this industry really opens your eyes to this reality and Ive learned that it is very important to make people feel comfortable with what they may be getting into.
