Hi Meaghan, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start, maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers.
It was April 17th,2023, at 10:55 am. I remember lying in bed, talking to God about a business plan, and asking God to show me what it is. All of sudden, this image came into my head: “Kids soft play,” and I’m like God, what is kids soft play? At first, I thought God was tryna to make me laugh, so he was bringing the jokes because I never heard of it until I sat in that bed talking to God. Well, anyway, I did my research to find out exactly what it was God was showing me. So, I called up a friend of mine and said, “Hey, I have this business idea that God is showing me. What do you think about it? And without hesitation, he says, “DO IT.” It’s a great idea. I got out of that bed, and at this point, I have chills all over my body “ like the spirit of God was in me.” I remember texting my daughter, asking her to send me some images of what a setup looks like, and she said, “Mom, don’t think twice about it DO IT,” and so I got online that same day and started ordering equipment with the funds I had put away for BILLS, but I didn’t think twice about it because God had already reassured me this is it. April 27th, 2023, I got my business license, insurance, and website. I’m 3 days away from rent and I’ve spent all my money on equipment, but I didn’t let it stress me I went and talked to God I said hey God “I spent all my money on equipment bills is coming; up what do I do next? He said, “Paid In Full” Faith. Y’all, my bills had been paid in full and on time. At this point, I’m jumping for joy, I’m shouting, I’m praising, I’m feeling good. So, I began to advertise my business and the first week of advertising I had several bookings fast forward to today I’ve been booked up even done 2 huge events 1 had over 100 kids and The other had almost 100 kids. Moral of this Story “HAVE FAITH AND DO IT.” God is Good
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
I encountered a few obstacles on my journey and gained valuable insights into what to do and what not to do. Advertising was one of my biggest challenges, but once I mastered it, I found that most of my support comes from unexpected sources.

Our purpose aside from putting together a memorable and unique experience with Honey’s Soft Play, we also make an impact on each child engaging in our soft play.

During my journey of opening Honey’s Soft Play Rentals, I have had the unwavering support of complete strangers & friends, specifically my kids and spouse. They’ve played a crucial role in pushing me toward achieving my aspirations.
Hard work truly pays off as we celebrate our first anniversary of operating successfully with sincere appreciation extended not only from myself but also from each individual customer whose trust continues inspiring us every single day. It has already been a year since Honey’s Soft Play opened its doors for business!
