Hi Mercy, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today.
Way back then in Nigeria, I was a TV host/presenter. Arriving America, I realized it’s way more than Front screen media and what you really have to offer in person. Where I’m from (Lagos, Nigeria) It’s limited resources unlike the access of resources and information we have over here
How can be of positive impact to my environment? I decided to start first as a small business owner that would evolve to giving more job opportunities as a brand.
Persistence, Discipline, and Principles are what guides a successful journey. It’s not an easy road but it’s all about THE MINDSET and how it should have a positive impact to the people around us and for future endeavors
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Every road has a bump we have to cross over one way or the other. Generally, I won’t call it a struggle? I’d say experiences that made me a better leader, entrepreneur, and humanitarian.
I remember having $0 in my account going to a job interview and I didn’t get the job because “she sounds African” but if only they know how much productivity I would have invested in another company, That I turned around and ended up investing in myself because of an “Accent obstacle”
Racism is a part of it, especially being an African. Hate to say it” but it’s crazy how well-mannered and knowledgeable I am than most people who are from here.
I handle things in Godly manner. So, when I come across an obstacle, I see it as a Test from God.

My government name lol. Kessie has always been the nickname- passed down to finally just accepting I’m KESSIE rather than my government name: MERCY. And That Separates my Personal Space and Privacy
