I’m a finance professional with a passion for building communities and empowering others to achieve their financial goals. Born in Wylie, Texas, but raised in a quaint town in Durango, Mexico, I embarked on a journey to Dallas after high school—a move marked by challenges, most notably mastering a new language. However, I embraced independence early on, juggling ESL classes, making new friends in a new country and having my first job as a waitress.
My educational path led me to a transformative experience at UTD, where I graduated Magna Cum Laude with dual majors in Marketing and Global Business. A pivotal moment occurred during a study trip to Istanbul, igniting my love for travel and cultural exploration.
Drawing inspiration from my mother’s entrepreneurial spirit—nurtured in her shoe store—I developed a keen interest in finances. Witnessing her achievements fueled my determination to forge my path, with a focus on creating opportunities for others. Financial education emerged as my driving force, believing it to be the ultimate equalizer, enabling individuals to shape their destinies.
Currently, as a Partner at New York Life Insurance Company, I help craft environments where individuals thrive. By assembling teams of Insurance Agents and Financial Advisors, I help to facilitate impactful client relationships grounded in financial literacy.
Beyond my professional pursuits, community engagement holds profound significance. Volunteering with organizations like the Hispanic Women Network of Texas and C3 Young Professionals, and Rosa es Rojo, allows me to contribute to causes close to my heart. I am committed to leveraging education and resources to help enrich the lives of those around me.
Excitingly, my journey is expanding as my husband and I anticipate the arrival of our first child, due in August. Together, we eagerly anticipate this new chapter, embracing the joys and challenges of parenthood.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
I am deeply grateful for where I am today and the supportive network of individuals who surround me. Despite encountering obstacles along the way, the unwavering support of others has enabled me to surmount any challenge that came my way. Relocating from my home country and leaving behind loved ones was undoubtedly a daunting endeavor, often evoking a sense of nostalgia and longing—a feeling commonly associated with the immigrant experience. Even after living in this country for 15 years, establishing my own family and creating deep bonds with friends who have become family, the persistent pain of not always being present for those I cherish remains with me. Nevertheless, this feeling serves as a catalyst for personal growth, instilling within me great appreciation for every opportunity and individual in my life.
The initial hurdles of mastering a new language were complicated, impacting my confidence levels, particularly when engaging in academic or professional conversations. However, this challenge serves as a driving force pushing me towards continual improvement. Embarking on a career within the insurance and financial services sector at a young age presented its own set of challenges, requiring a concerted effort to establish credibility and build trust with my clients, despite my age. Yet, this endeavor fuels my relentless pursuit of excellence, knowing that my overall objective of creating a brighter future for both myself and those I mentor supersedes any apprehensions or doubts. From a young age, going outside my comfort zone has consistently exposed me to situations that have fostered invaluable lessons and personal growth.

My commitment revolves around empowering individuals to unlock their full potential, aiding them in achieving their professional aspirations while concurrently assisting clients in navigating various aspects of their financial journey. Our primary objective centers on facilitating client-centered discussions aimed at identifying their financial goals and aspirations, thereby enabling us to devise custom strategic frameworks tailored to their unique circumstances.
These strategic frameworks vary significantly depending on the individual’s life stage and specific needs; however, the ultimate goal remains consistent: instilling clients with the confidence and assurance needed to realize their financial objectives through a comprehensive suite of insurance solutions and investment strategies. Can you share something surprising about yourself?
A lesser-known fact about me is that I began knitting at the age of seven, spending my after-school hours engaged in this craft. I have fond memories of sitting outside my mother’s shoe store, needles in hand, a skill passed down to me by a neighbor. It’s a testament to the quaint charm of small-town life. Regrettably, I haven’t rediscovered the patience required to rekindle this pastime.
