Today we’d like to introduce you to Rachel Frisch
Hi Rachel, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I started my journey in the beauty industry a couple of months after moving from Santa Barbara, California, to Fort Worth, Texas. With a long-standing passion for working with people and an interest in beauty, it felt like a natural path for me. I attended Ogle, where I quickly picked up the art of lashing—it was a no-brainer.
While in school, I balanced my time working part-time as a server and taking clients from home. My dedication paid off, allowing me to quit my serving job and focus solely on my lashing business. Despite opening my studio in the midst of the pandemic, I was able to persevere, thanks to the grace of God and the support of my family.
Investing in myself has always been a priority, so I regularly take lash courses to hone my skills. I even expanded into permanent makeup! My true passion lies in enhancing women’s natural beauty, making them feel seen, heard, and comfortable without judgment. If I can make my clients feel happy, comfortable, or confident, I know I’ve done my job.
I would like to invest in mentorship and more education so I can start teaching Lash courses. The industry has grown so much so it’s important for me to stay up on all the latest trends.
I have a small dog named nova who is diabetic, I rescued him back in California. He has been by my side through everything! I don’t have kids at the moment, but I would love to become a mom someday. During my free time, I love to cook, make DIY crafts, be near a big body of water, workout, explore the city and New restaurants and travel.
My life is far from boring! 🤣
I’ve recently moved into a new studio space at the NT Suites in Fort Worth, Texas. From the beginning, I’ve been working independently, never for any company. Believing in myself, I’ve faced the ups and downs of business without letting that stop me. I’ve also had the opportunity to train other girls in lashes and brows, helping them grow their skills.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It has not been a smooth road whatsoever. You would think now I would be in a better spot, but things have taken a turn since I lost three family members and the relationship I went through this past year. I have overcome many challenges, so this isn’t really something I’m worried about. It’s been far from easy, especially doing this on my own. Both grandparents and my father passed away all within the course of 11 months. My grandparents were one of the main reasons I moved to Texas. Everything I have learned has all been trial and error.
Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
Lash made beauty is a beauty Service provider. We provide all lash and brow services, lash extensions, lash Lift and brow, lamination, tint, facial, waxing, permanent makeup, and lash training. I am specifically known for lash extensions, I have served over 5000 clients over the past five years. I am most proud of the amount of clients and time I have put into my business. I have started it from the ground up. We’d be interested to hear your thoughts on luck and what role, if any, you feel it’s played for you?
I’ve been extremely lucky to work in this industry. I do know that I am talented with a decent amount of skills, but I will say that it isn’t up and downhill battle. Like they say, you get what you give. You can’t take your clients for granted or your business. It has taught me to never stop learning & growing. This industry has a lot to do with your mindset. Mindset is everything!
