Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
My journey began quite humbly. From a young age, I was deeply inspired by the values of hard work and faith instilled in me by my family. These principles guided me through my years at Baylor University, where not only did I pursue a degree in Medical Humanities, but I also had the honor of contributing to our Big XII Championships in football. Those experiences taught me about teamwork, discipline, and the pursuit of excellence—qualities that have been foundational in my entrepreneurial ventures.
After college, I co-founded Buena Vista Valley Farms, where we worked tirelessly to innovate within the medical marijuana sector. Buena Vista’s success, leading to its acquisition, was a pivotal moment, reaffirming my belief that significant impact is possible with dedication and a clear vision. This milestone was not just a professional achievement but also a testament to the support and guidance from my family and faith.
Returning to Dallas marked a new chapter where I launched RSVP Social, a patented platform designed to transform how people connect in real life. My vision was to address a gap in social connectivity, ensuring that technology serves as a bridge to genuine interactions. The drive to bring RSVP Social to life was fueled by my passion for technology and a commitment to enhancing human connections—a mission deeply rooted in my desire to create lasting, positive impacts in the community.
Additionally, my role with the Heritage Seekers Foundation has allowed me to explore another passion—preserving and promoting African-American heritage. This work is crucial, not just for honoring our past but for empowering future generations with a true understanding of their history.
Every step of my journey has been a blend of faith, perseverance, and a deep commitment to making a difference. These elements continue to drive me as I move forward, looking to innovate, connect, and inspire in every endeavor I undertake.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
I firmly believe in the saying, “…nothing in life worth having is easy to obtain or maintain.” The milestones I’ve achieved in life, from obtaining my bachelor’s degree several semesters earlier than expected, setting collegiate football records, experiencing failed business ventures, and conquering chronic anxiety issues; I realized that smooth roads do not create experienced drivers. A wise man once told me, ” No pressure = no diamonds.” To fulfill our destiny as intended by the Most High, we must embrace and overcome trials and tribulations. What we may deem as a “loss”, is never truly a failure, until we cease trying. I am blessed to have undergone many battles in my life because they have chiseled and sculpted me into a “made-man.” However, if I am lucky, my journey is far from over and there is much more growth to gain. is never truly a failure

The brand I would like to highlight in this interview is RSVP Social! I am the Founder and CEO of RSVP. For every 150 match connections users receive on our competitor’s platform(s), those respective users only meet 1 other user IRL; this is a significant problem RSVP Social resolves. RSVP Social offers a unique, patented solution that focuses on real-time, same-day connections, leveraging an algorithm that uses location-based data. This not only ensures a safer and more efficient dating experience compared to competitors but also instills a sense of security and confidence in our users.
RSVP Social provides a mobile application with the following features:

I leverage the Bible, specifically the Cepher for wisdom, guidance, and knowledge. However, I enjoy and amass plentiful information from podcasts such as How I Built This, Y-Combinator’s YouTube channel ( I love Michael Seibel), Presidents Club, and Diary of a CEO.
