It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. Transitioning from the beauty industry into finance meant completely redefining my identity and rebuilding my brand from the ground up. I had to learn how to balance faith, perseverance, and strategy while stepping into a new field that demanded both credibility and confidence.
There were moments when I questioned if I made the right decision times when business slowed down, funds were tight, or people doubted my ability to succeed in a new space. But those challenges became fuel. They taught me how to pivot, how to lead, and how to trust God’s timing even when things didn’t move as fast as I hoped.
Building Opulent Trust Financial from scratch required long nights, personal sacrifices, and an unwavering belief that purpose will always outweigh pressure. Every setback taught me something from managing clients and systems to building a trustworthy team. I learned that growth isn’t always glamorous, but it’s always worth it.
