I’ve always had a passion for creativity and problem-solving, which started with photography and gradually expanded into design and digital work. Over time, I realized that many small businesses around me struggled with building an online presence, so I launched APEX Creative Agency to help them stand out. What started as a side hustle—designing websites, managing branding, and capturing visuals—grew into a full service where I now combine my design background, marketing experience, and entrepreneurial mindset.
Today, APEX focuses on making professional design and digital marketing accessible for small businesses. I’ve learned to balance creativity with strategy, and that mix has shaped both my personal growth and the agency’s direction. Every project is not just about delivering a website or a logo—it’s about helping business owners feel confident in their brand and giving them tools to grow.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It definitely hasn’t been a perfectly smooth road. In the beginning, one of the biggest challenges was building trust as a new business—convincing clients to take a chance on me when I didn’t yet have a long track record. I also had to learn how to balance creativity with the realities of running a business: managing budgets, setting the right pricing, and wearing many hats at once.
Another challenge has been time management. Between family life, a full-time career, and running APEX, I had to figure out how to prioritize without losing quality in any area. Over time, these struggles taught me resilience, patience, and the importance of creating efficient systems. They weren’t easy, but they shaped the way I operate today and gave me the confidence to handle bigger projects and clients.

I had a strong entrepreneurial spirit early on—I liked coming up with ideas and imagining how to bring them to life.
I was also very family-oriented, which shaped a lot of who I am today. My interests were always a mix of creativity and logic, and that balance carried into my career. Looking back, those early traits—curiosity, creativity, and persistence—laid the foundation for the work I do now with design, technology, and helping businesses grow.
