Today we’d like to introduce you to Stanislav Nedzelskyi.
Hi Stanislav, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
Art Wheel Studio was founded by Liliana and Stanislav, a mother and son team. Liliana, a Ukrainian artist with a passion for teaching, wanted to provide her community with accessible and holistic art education. Stanislav grew up studying his mother’s techniques and helped incorporate the studio in 2015, further developing our methodology and teaching new staff. Combining classical realism with academic principles from Math, Science, and Engineering, Art Wheel Studio nurtures creativity while fostering personal growth, academic acceleration, and emotional well-being. The studio creates a supportive, community-focused environment where students of all ages can explore their artistic potential, gain confidence, and develop critical life skills. Through art, Art Wheel Studio empowers students to discover their full potential, both as artists and individuals, while enriching the local community.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
We are passionate about both our teaching method and our students, and we’ve always enjoyed sharing our knowledge with the community. Over the years, we’ve hosted art classes, organized workshops, and supported community service programs such as WizArt—experiences we’ve truly valued.
Some of our biggest challenges have come from learning how to operate a business in the U.S. We’ve had to study regulations to stay compliant and invest time in understanding marketing and branding so we could effectively reach our audience.
Through these challenges, we’ve grown tremendously over the past ten years. Now, we’re excited to continue building connections in the community, sharing more about our signature program, and welcoming new students to our studios.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your business?
Our mission is to enrich the lives of families in North Texas through the arts. We draw on extensive training and proven century-old teaching methods to help students of all ages develop a true appreciation for creativity. What sets us apart is not only the quality of instruction, but also our commitment to showing how art can have a transformative impact—on individuals, families, and the community as a whole. We offer group classes, semi-private lessons, workshops and Visiting Artist master classes, and birthday parties, all rooted in time-tested art practices.
Our offerings make art accessible, meaningful, and inspiring. Beyond teaching technique, we focus on building confidence, encouraging self-expression, and helping students see the value of art in everyday life.
What we are most proud of, brand-wise, is our ability to create a welcoming, inclusive environment where people feel connected and supported. Our offerings go beyond lessons—they represent a space where creativity, community, and growth come together. That’s what we want readers to know: we are not just an art school, but a place where the arts become a powerful, life-enriching experience
What are your plans for the future?
Our biggest project currently in development is the launch of a nonprofit dedicated to supporting students who are prevented from pursuing the arts due to financial barriers. This initiative will provide a meaningful way for donors to directly invest in the arts within their own community. Through the nonprofit, we plan to host art competitions across North Texas, offer training opportunities for teachers in both our school and local schools, and award scholarships to students so they can explore their artistic passions without financial limitations.
We know that many talented students face challenges affording an artistic education, and our goal is to address this issue at its root—ensuring that access to the arts is based on passion and potential, not financial means.
