Today we’d like to introduce you to Tammy Conner.
Hi Tammy, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I’ve had the privilege of being a license cosmetologist for the past 34 years, specializing in natural hair care.. I was a booth renter for 29 years. The past 5 years, I’ve had the privilege of being a shop owner. My staple piece to natural hair care is the shampoo process. It is very important for me that the hair follicle is so clean, that it stands up after the shampoo. Thats what produces a healthy, shinny look.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It has been a smooth road for me. Of course there was a building process at the beginning. It actually took about 5 years to build my clientele.
We’ve been impressed with The Shop, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
The Shop is a place where professionalism is a priority. I am a timely person. You will receive your service at your appointed time. If there is a delay, it will only be shortly there after. You will be greated with a smile and I will always be professionally dressed. I’m most proud of my timeliness and my finished product. My customer can always expect consistency in my proformance.

What has worked well for me? I I have always surrounded myself with people who exemplify professionalism.
