Today we’d like to introduce you to Tatiana Lucy
Hi Tatiana, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
Born in Honduras, Tatiana moved with her family to her father’s hometown of Sioux Falls, SD at the age of 7. In 1996 the family moved to Lewisville, TX where she attended Lewisville High School (Let’s Go Farmers!). Tatiana attended college while beginning her career in property management.
Through the years, Tatiana has held positions in management in small businesses as well as corporate, while having ownership role of her own business. While she thrived in business and management, Tatiana found another passion in caring for others. In 2019 she became a Certified Medical Assistant and worked in a local private practice gaining knowledge and experience in the medical field. She developed relationships with patients and values the importance of providing the best care. As a patient since 2013 of Dr. Sanderson over the years, Tatiana is thrilled at the opportunity to merge her two passions: helping others and entrepreneurship.
Live Young Wellness Spa in Argyle is becoming more and more well known for their team’s results driven approach to each individual client. They pride themselves on making sure each client leaves feeling great about themselves and heard. Her team is lead by herself, Paige – Nurse Practitioner, Leia – Aesthetician, Tinika, Front Desk Coordinator, Ava, Receptionist.
In addition to all of her business ventures, Tatiana is a wife to Keith Lucy, also part owner, Navy Veteran and employed with American Airlines. She is also a mother to three busy dancers. She takes pride in being a strong female entrepreneur and role model, While also being fully present for her daughters Emily, Chloe, and Mia. In her free time Tatiana enjoys volunteering her time to 501c3 non-profit organizations in the community, golfing, and planning themed reception events for her family and friends.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
The last 9 months have had their ups and downs while continuing to work on growth for both financially but also for our location’s recognition in the community. We have had some set backs along the way that has delayed the build out of our additional space of 1,400 sqft for additional suites to sublease and to grow into but we are hopeful we will be able to sublease the space or slowly start a buildout process in 2025.

How do you define success?
For me, success is about making a meaningful impact on the people and community around me. Whether it’s through my work, relationships, or personal actions, I feel successful when I know I’ve contributed positively to others’ lives. My team here is strong and they have been with me since the construction process and we all agree that in order to be a successful team, it is all about how we show up for our clients daily, the community and each other.
