Hi Tom, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
Tunergoods was welcomed into existence in 2013. As its owner, I always had a passion for cars and I wanted to share my passion with others. One way to do that was to offer aftermarket car parts for people to modify their car whether aesthetically or functionally. I was also active duty military serving in the Army as my full time job through this period. I vividly recall when I used to load up on customer parts after work when I lived in Tyler. I would drive to Dallas to meet customers, deliver their order, and drive back home several times a week.
Through this period, I met Alex and Mike who both helped me grow our operation into a national online brand. We established a culture of integrity, inclusivity, and respect for both our customers and one another. We also grew a team of amazing people like Frank Nunez, Kenny Nguyen, Zach DeFour, Andrew Do, and so many more.
From there, we decided to open a physical location in 2024 as I was retiring from 22 years of military service. The store offers parts and wheels in addition to tires, wrap, paint protection film, ceramic coat installations, and more. Since the shop’s inception, it has grown steadily and our customer base is expanding.
We contribute our growth due to our high standards of customer service and overall body of work with respect to quality. Most importantly, we truly enjoy serving our greater community with donations or volunteer work when able.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Running the business has not been smooth. It has tested our mettle many times through economic downturns, a pandemic, and discovering quality team members who hold the same beliefs in quality and customer service we find to be extremely important

Any big plans?
We are planning to eventually move to a bigger facility. We are also expanding our commercial division where we will seek to serve local body shops and dealerships with wraps, PPF installations, and more.
Pricing:
- Wraps are $3500 and up
- PPF installations are generally $4000 and up
- Tire Installations are $150
- Roadforce Balancing is $50 per tire.
- Wheels can cost anywhere from $1250 to $20000 for our exotic car clients.
