Hi Tyler, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I went from a full-time student into an upcoming medical student. I’m going to school to be an OB/GYN. My business name has a meaning behind it, “Daynee” is my middle my name but it’s actually spelled “Dayne” but I added on the extra e at the end, “Journëë” is coming from my journey behind medical school and prospering with my business. I have a natural skincare business that treats the body from head to toe. The products that I have are for acne, facial, body, soap, skin, eczema, psoriasis, and relaxation. My products are natural and organic I don’t have any chemicals, parabens, sulfates in any of my products, and they’re cruelty-free. Each product is enriched with shea butter, cocoa butter, mango butter, or kokum butter and natural oils like coconut, jojoba, tea tree oil. All the products do their job plus more, leaving your skin healthy, and hydrates your skin. I’ll have more products coming out pretty soon, for kids pretty soon.
When I become an OB/GYN, I plan to use my natural, hand-crafted products with my patients; when they come talk to me about their body, I want to be more than just their physician. I want to help them make healthy choices and decisions for them themselves as whole. Their body, as well for their children. I want my patients to glow naturally, no matter what their skin looks like. The natural way is always best because Glow is all we know at Daynee Journëë.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
No! I’m a full-time student, plus my school work is super heavy, and then I’m getting ready to be a medical student. But, I enjoy what I do!
