Johna, it’s always a pleasure to learn from you and your journey. Let’s start with a bit of a warmup: What do the first 90 minutes of your day look like?
Thank you! Every morning I wake up take my vitamins and make a protein coffee, then I usually watch a documentary while I respond to emails!
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
THG + CO originated from The Hair Gangsta, an Instagram handle I created, which over time established an overall vibe and direction of the brand! We are fun and not afraid to push boundaries, but never the integrity of your hair! Overtime, the brand grew into a full service barber salon and we rebranded to incorporate where it all originated while embracing our growth! THG + CO is located outside of Dallas, in Sulphur Springs TX, and provides services such as revolutionary hair extensions, barbering, coloring, event styling, nail services, and more!

What’s something you changed your mind about after failing hard?
It’s not really a failure but a lesson. Failure only happens when you stop trying!

My dad. He isn’t perfect but is honorable and his handshake holds as good as any legal contract!
