Life, Values & Legacy: Our Chat with Chioma Amadi of Dallas, TX

Chioma Amadi shared their story and experiences with us recently and you can find our conversation below.

Good morning Chioma, it’s such a great way to kick off the day – I think our readers will love hearing your stories, experiences and about how you think about life and work. Let’s jump right in? When have you felt most loved—and did you believe you deserved it?
I recently felt loved when I had a 1 year anniversary dinner to celebrate my business. My friends and family showed up and gave me so much love and encouragement. I really felt seen that day.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
I’m Chioma Amadi, a Dallas,Texas native with a strong Nigerian
background. I’m specifically from the Igbo tribe and I am the oldest
out of 3 siblings. I am the founder of MomentsByChi, an Event Content
Creation service that specializes in events. This is a brand that is
near and dear to my heart because I get to visually uplift couples,
businesses, families, and others in a special and creative way. Our
mission is to capture those special moments so that you can relive
them forever. I also create content for businesses and event
promotional purposes. I also create content for myself as a way to
keep the fun moments and memories forever alive with me. Lets just say
I am a woman that not only lets the good times roll but wants to keep
them forever.

Great, so let’s dive into your journey a bit more. Who taught you the most about work?
My father. I still go to him for questions every now and then.

What did suffering teach you that success never could?
Suffering taught me that I can get through anything. It also taught me that I am stronger than I think.

Next, maybe we can discuss some of your foundational philosophies and views? What would your closest friends say really matters to you?
They would say quality time matters to me. Time is the most valuable thing because I can never get it back. Which is why I like to capture fun moments in time through my camera so that I can deliver them forever.

Thank you so much for all of your openness so far. Maybe we can close with a future oriented question. What is the story you hope people tell about you when you’re gone?
I hope people say that I’m kind and that I’m creative. And that I spread peace with people.
