We recently had the chance to connect with Danielle Hall – Passion The Lioness and have shared our conversation below.
Danielle Hall -, so good to connect and we’re excited to share your story and insights with our audience. There’s a ton to learn from your story, but let’s start with a warm up before we get into the heart of the interview. Have any recent moments made you laugh or feel proud?
July 2025, I had the incredible honor of being featured on the Mesh Dollhouse Empower Her Empower All Billboard Campaign alongside 33 phenomenal women, across Dallas, Houston, and Atlanta, and over 20 iconic locations. It was a reminder that when you stay faithful, focused, and grounded, God opens doors no one can shut.
On August 2nd 2025, I launched my own fragrance line, Passion The Lioness Fragrances. This line includes scents for women, men, and unisex options. I believe everyone deserves to feel confident, seen, and empowered.
My brand isn’t just about products. It’s about purpose. My mission is to help others embrace who they are and who they’re becoming. Do the inner work, stay true to yourself, and watch everything else align.
This is just the beginning of my journey. I’m walking boldly in my purpose — and I’m bringing others with me.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?

I believe in powerful, purposeful collaborations. If you’re seeking a fresh, inspiring voice that makes a real difference, let’s create something extraordinary.
Okay, so here’s a deep one: Who saw you clearly before you could see yourself?
My Mama Knows Me
My mama saw the beauty and talent in me before anyone else ever did.
She believed in me when I didn’t believe in myself.
She saw my light when the world only saw my flaws.
She spoke life into my dreams and reminded me of my worth.
My mama has always been my biggest supporter, my safe place, and my guiding strength.
Through every storm, every tear, and every victory — she’s been right there.
Because of her, I learned what resilience looks like, what unconditional love feels like, and what it means to keep shining no matter what.
Without her, there would be no me.
When did you stop hiding your pain and start using it as power?
The Moment That Changed Everything
When I was 18, I tried to end my life. I was broken, hurting, and didn’t see a way out. They placed me in a facility called Trinity Springs. While I was there, a man who worked there started talking to me.
He said, “You don’t seem crazy — you just seem like you’ve been through some things.” Then he asked, “What do you like to do?”
I told him, poetry.
He said, “Let me hear something.”
So I recited the first poem I ever wrote — ‘Me.’
When I finished, he looked at me and said, “Baby girl, that’s good. I want you to do something with that.”
I laughed and said, “Yeah, okay.”
But he said again, “No, I’m serious. That was really good.”
From that moment on, I never stopped writing. I never stopped performing. I never stopped believing that maybe, just maybe, my words could save not only me — but someone else too.
I think our readers would appreciate hearing more about your values and what you think matters in life and career, etc. So our next question is along those lines. What’s a belief or project you’re committed to, no matter how long it takes?
My mission is to help others embrace who they are and who they’re becoming. Do the inner work, stay true to yourself, and watch everything else align.
Thank you so much for all of your openness so far. Maybe we can close with a future oriented question. What is the story you hope people tell about you when you’re gone?
When I’m gone, I don’t want people to just remember my face.
I want them to remember my heart.
Remember my kind and loving spirit.
Remember how I made them feel seen, loved, and valued.
Remember the way I gave, even when I had little left to give.
I want people to think of me and feel warmth,
to say, “She was genuine. She was real.”
Because that’s who I am and that’s how I pray to always be remembered.
