Life, Values & Legacy: Our Chat with Giovanni Cabrera of Arlington Texas

Giovanni Cabrera shared their story and experiences with us recently and you can find our conversation below.

Good morning Giovanni, we’re so happy to have you here with us and we’d love to explore your story and how you think about life and legacy and so much more. So let’s start with a question we often ask: What do the first 90 minutes of your day look like?
I wake up at 4:30 grabbed my gym bag and hit the gym. My whole morning is my gym routine

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
My names Gio. I’m from Arlington Texas. I am a musician and visuals art photographer. What’s unique about me and my brand is that everything I do is me. I feel like I’m able to capture emotion through photos to where you can feel something from the photo. With music I kind of used it as expression at first kind of like a diary to myself.

Thanks for sharing that. Would love to go back in time and hear about how your past might have impacted who you are today. What did you believe about yourself as a child that you no longer believe?
“I used to believe failure meant I wasn’t good enough. Now I see it’s just part of the process — the L’s teach me more than the wins ever did.”

What did suffering teach you that success never could?
“Suffering taught me patience, humility, and how to move when no one’s clapping. Success felt loud, but the lessons that stuck came in silence.”

Alright, so if you are open to it, let’s explore some philosophical questions that touch on your values and worldview. Whom do you admire for their character, not their power?
Anyone who stay kind even when life’s been unkind to them.

Okay, we’ve made it essentially to the end. One last question before you go. What is the story you hope people tell about you when you’re gone?
I hope they say I was real — not perfect, not always right, but real. That I showed up with heart, stayed solid, and left people better than I found them.
