Hi Kevin, thank you so much for taking time out of your busy day to share your story, experiences and insights with our readers. Let’s jump right in with an interesting one: What makes you lose track of time—and find yourself again?
Playing my PlayStation! It really helps decompress from the day’s events. I get to escape to a different world, still navigating challenges but with a lot more control of the outcome .
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
My Name is Kevin Moore Jr. I’m a Model and SAG-AFTRA eligible actor based in Texas, known for my dynamic presence on screen and stage. I’m currently Represented by Bennett Connection Talent (TX).
Appreciate your sharing that. Let’s talk about your life, growing up and some of topics and learnings around that. Who were you before the world told you who you had to be?
I’ve always been Kevin Moore Jr. before the world told me who I had to be, I was already aware that I just had to be me.
What have been the defining wounds of your life—and how have you healed them?
The death of my grandmother, my yah yah. Someone who was a huge impact on my life and taught me to be the person I am today. Without her I don’t know where I would be. She was a strong woman and I know she would want me to be strong too, so I did what I thought she would want me to do. I healed from the wound by using my pain to fuel my power.
I think our readers would appreciate hearing more about your values and what you think matters in life and career, etc. So our next question is along those lines. Is the public version of you the real you?
Yes, this is the real me . I don’t hide who I am. I never will , nor the emotions I have In my heart. I’ve never been ashamed of who I am or where I come from.
Okay, so let’s keep going with one more question that means a lot to us: What light inside you have you been dimming?
I’ve been holding back from doing new things. That’s something I need to work on. I want to continue working towards broadening my horizons and exploring different opportunities. I’d like to meet new people and take more risks.
