Life, Values & Legacy: Our Chat with Kyliah Baird of Fort Worth

We’re looking forward to introducing you to Kyliah Baird. Check out our conversation below.

Good morning Kyliah, it’s such a great way to kick off the day – I think our readers will love hearing your stories, experiences and about how you think about life and work. Let’s jump right in? What makes you lose track of time—and find yourself again?
Traveling

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
Hello,

My name is Kyliah and I am the owner of Bella Bee-Tique. It’s an online exclusive boutique to help elevate your style. One aspect I would like to highlight about the boutique is that you can restyle our items in multiple ways and reinvent yourself as many times as you would like. Whether you are in the office and would like to transition to happy hour with a slight detail change, you can do that with our clothes. Or you can transition your vacation attire to wear into the office. Versatility is key!

Great, so let’s dive into your journey a bit more. What relationship most shaped how you see yourself?
I would say all of my friendships have helped me to see myself. They believed in me first and pushed me to my full potential, even before becoming a business owner. They trusted me to help style them for all occasions and they continue to use my services and products to continue supporting my passion, talent, and dreams. I thank all of them for their support.

What did suffering teach you that success never could?
To continue going! As much as we may suffer along the journey, there are so many valuable lessons that are learned along the way. If you are always winning, you tend to miss out on valuable lessons to sharpen your skills. I believe every lose is a lesson and you can truly grow from those experiences.

So a lot of these questions go deep, but if you are open to it, we’ve got a few more questions that we’d love to get your take on. Is the public version of you the real you?
Yes! What you see is what you get. I will not shy away from who I am in the public eye. I feel that authenticity is truly a way to connect with your audience and vital to create those important relationships that are needed on this journey called life. Showing up as yourself only benefits you!

Thank you so much for all of your openness so far. Maybe we can close with a future oriented question. When do you feel most at peace?
When I’m doing activities that help my soul rest and reset. When tasks feel chaotic and out of alignment, my body feels it. When something brings me excitement and joy, I feel most at peace when I’m working on my passion.
