We’re looking forward to introducing you to Morghan Elise. Check out our conversation below.
Morghan, it’s always a pleasure to learn from you and your journey. Let’s start with a bit of a warmup: What is something outside of work that is bringing you joy lately?
When I’m not handcrafting lemonade, I love creating new ideas for t-shirts, spending time in the water; competitive swimming has been bringing me so much joy lately. There’s something about diving in and tuning everything else out that helps me reset. Every lap challenges me, clears my mind, and reminds me of how strong and focused I can be.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
Hi, I’m Morghan! I am the founder of the MorghanElise brand and mixologist behind a handcrafted lemonade brand, Rainbow Sprinkle Lemonade, that’s all about bold flavors, fresh ingredients, and unforgettable experiences.. What makes my lemonade special is that it’s made with fresh ingredients and a whole lot of love. It started as something small and fun, but now I get to bring my lemonade to events and share it with lots of people. I’m working on expanding our mobile lemonade bar experience to reach more events, more communities, and more smiling faces. It’s more than just lemonade, it’s a vibe!
Amazing, so let’s take a moment to go back in time. Who taught you the most about work?
I learned the most about work from my mom. Watching her balance responsibilities, stay determined, and always give her best showed me what it means to work hard and stay passionate. My mom’s example continues to inspire me every day in running my businesses.
What fear has held you back the most in your life?
The fear that’s held me back the most has been my shyness when it comes to promoting my business. Talking about what I do and putting myself out there hasn’t always come naturally. But over time, I’ve realized that if I don’t speak up for my brand, no one else will. I’m learning to step out of my comfort zone, and each time I do, I gain more confidence and pride in what I’ve built.
I think our readers would appreciate hearing more about your values and what you think matters in life and career, etc. So our next question is along those lines. Is the public version of you the real you?
The public version of me is real, but it’s not all of who I am. When I’m talking about my business, I try to be confident and friendly because I care a lot about what I do. I still get nervous, still have doubts, and sometimes just need time to recharge. So yes, the public me is real. It’s just the version I’ve grown into while still growing behind the scenes.
Thank you so much for all of your openness so far. Maybe we can close with a future oriented question. What is the story you hope people tell about you when you’re gone?
I hope people remember me as someone who started a business at 4 years olds and who worked hard, stayed kind, and never gave up on my dreams. I want them to say I brought joy to others through my lemonade and t-shirt brands and helped make their days a little brighter. Most of all, I hope they remember me as someone who believed in herself and encouraged others to do the same.
